- Proto Rail
- Two standard Missile turrets, Acc or Cycl
- Two 15% War Resists will net you a passive 34.52-ish resists with maxed shield skill
- Heavy Converse Shield Booster (Can be upgraded to the best one if you go ADV rails)
- Heavy Azo Shield Extender
- Normal Azo Shield Extender
- Two PG upgrades for the low slots
With your booster running you'll have about 15K EHP, for a gunnie. |

That's over 9000 EHP from your shields alone, not counting armor or the booster. With blasters... You can do the same if you only run normal blasters, but... Blasters on Gunnies make your PG issues a real problem... You will murder most infantry especially with the shields but other maddies will still eat you alive. Active shield hardeners don't last long enough to make them worthwhile, and always make sure you have a heavy booster on your tank unless you are a dedicated Redliner... Which is bad. I'm not a fan of blasters on any tank, honestly. How do u have that much shield I havea heavy azo shield extender 2 azo shield exteders 1 shield res a clarity shield booster and 2 local power diagnostics moda and yea blasters take alot and i struggle to take down maddys but love ripping through infatry |

34 Resists with 6000 shields.
6183/0.66=9368
Gives a lot of effective hit points.
Currently your set-up gives 8809EHP, but you are going to suffer from long recovery times as your clarity booster is a small not a heavy. |

I have no idea how much SP my character has tbh, but the vast majority of it is in HAVs, 3-4 million is when they really start to shine, anything past that is pretty much just icing on the cake so to speak at least for gunnies, I have no idea how much you need to make a Madrugar effective.
I do okay, I never lose tanks unless I'm doing something goofy or I'm bored so only about once or twice a week (Yesterday I lost one in a game of trying to run over every LAV and infantryman with my HAV), I make a profit off of them so at least there's that. My two favorite fits do cost about 800K and 1.4M each so you do have to be careful and build up a reserve for rainy days.
Main important thing is to always have an escape plan, and never take on AV infantry head-on. It takes some trial and error to learn your limits, but then again I use Rails mostly and then sometimes Missiles.
Blasters operate differently you just need to remember to not hang out in the same spot for too long, always keep moving. If you stay in one spot for too long then AV infantry have the chance to form a gang and hunt you down. |

Orbitals are another reason why I always recommend being on the move. My tank can barely survive an orbital if I've not been shot up and if I hit my Booster the instant I hear an orbital being set up, but ultimately they will always be a problem for HAVs/
Just take pride if someone calls an orbital on you, it meant you were that much of a threat
Good luck and have fun! |

Every high and low slot filled with young, handicapped children, so AVers might feel sorry for popping your tank. |

That is one disturbingly fragile and expensive set-up you got there. You redline snipe? |

I rail snipe on occasion. Mostly I run fragmented missiles or rail or blaster on the front line. The philosophy behind this set up is understanding that the HP only really maters if you can keep that HP repaired. Due to the low amount of HP that the shield boosters can recover, having the extra HP from a heavy extender is most of the time ineffective and a waste of other wise useful resorses. This is a good frontline fit. You just have to be very aware of AV and other ranks on the battle field. You definitely don't want to get caught by surprise. On the other hand it has a whole lot of stoping power. Melts infantry like butter and rips tanks apart. |

Madrugar 1x180 plate 1xPG upgrade 2xActive Hardener 1xHdavy rapper
1xActive heat sink 1xActive Scanner
2x20gj blaster 1x80gj blaster
Aim for this until u have proto turrets. Then swap out one hardener for a PG upgrade. |

Lol yah I'm the only shield tanker that complains about the FG. The FG is the reason I run this fit. I got tired of always getting popped when using the heavy extender. I don't get popped so much any more. |

Don't go blaster/missile, you are a tank, you want to hit hard. learn to aim. kill other tanks, drive over shield tanks and 1shot them, 1 shot AV infantry, 1shot the rest - retaliation.
Get armor plates on 5 for the -3% PG cost / level, important, don't listen to other tankers, they lie and cry and whine and cuddle in the night |

Pub Gunnilogi fit 578k per tank
ADV large scattered blaster 2 Frag/cycled/accel ST missile launchers
Highs: Heavy az extender Heavy converse shield booster 2 15% passive resists 1 30% active resist
Lows: 2 15% PG mods
5400 base hp with 34% passive resists and a 64% active resists
Normally ill save my active hardner if i get cough out in the open and i know they will get a good 3 to 4 shots on me... Or if a blaster tank rolls up on me... With the active hardner i've been able to go toe to toe against a maddy |
