What is a good fit for a basic gallente scout-
My fit:
-Gek
-SMG STD
-enhanced armor
-Basic armor rep
-enhanced shield extender
It has total of armound 350 ehp
Also it runs 7.2 mp/s |

Drop the armor rep and armor plates from your lows and stack Kinetic Catalizers instead so you can run faster. I personally don't like the enhanced shield extenders as they don't add much for the extra PG/CPU. I would stick with basic until you unlock the Complex ones. Weapons you can pretty much do what you like, but I usually see more Gallente Scouts running Shotguns as the main weapon of choice or Sniper Rifles. SMG is a great sidearm(or main weapon even).
My opinion at least. Full disclosure: I don't run Gallente Scout I run Minmatar and use SMG/Nova's but the basic principle is the same. Run fast, hit hard, and escape.

I always recommend, that you use the fit that is the most fun for you. That being said, speed, stealth & signature detection are the only benefits of the scout suit. If this is your cheap, ISK grinding fit I'd say it's perfectly fine. But, it would make more sense as a basic assault. I would dump the rep for a Cat, but I'm a close combat scout. with an AR it makes sense. |

m209 assault sub for main
toxin sub for sidearm
one enhanced sidearm damage mod this will apply for both weapons
drop uplink
I use this on my valor g1 keep in mind I have core skills maxed
also my submachine gun is at sharpshooter 3 and pro at 3

Main weapon -Militia shotgun
Sidearm -Toxin sub machine-gun
Best shield extender on the left
On the right CPU enhancer and basic rep
Militia nades and a spawn uplink
---- ---- ---- ----
That usually costs me about 8k isk per suit. Makes me lots of iskies and I can run them indefinitely!
Just remember that the shotgun is a great weapon when you get used to it however in laggy situations it sucks balls and even if you hit them point blank a lot of the time it just passes right through the enemy, damn lag. |

the problem is i dont rep at all which renders my 150 armor worthless |

Drop the plate, and replace it with either cardiac mod(more useful now since the stamina Nerf) a kincat(I'm not a fan since the Nerf) profile dampaner or range enhancer(or whatever its called)
The rep is fine, but if you do swap the shield extender for a DMG mod(recommended if your going to use a AR) then trade the rep for any of the above mods. |
