Well
in reallife a combat medic is trained in the same rifles as the front soldiers.
in reallife an engineer is training in the same rifles as the front soldiers.
I know this game is based far away of beeing realistic, but if my logi will be forced to sidearm only,
i guarantee that there will be no more logis running arround. I dont wanna hide around in the back.
As a logi i should be part of the frontline, prepare the ground for heavys and assaults with my hives and
drop up links, but i also should be part of attacking objectives.
If assaults are not able to kill me, sorry, but then they arent good enough or even something i call skilled.
And to be honest i barely see an assault shooting me down with a duvolle or scrambler.
Most times i get killed by massdriving or flaylock bunnys. Skill=0.
But the more variance a game offers, the more people will cry for nerf this and that.
CCP should invest time and bring some more maps!
3 Maps in 12 months or even more devolpment time, thats a shame.

Dude you need to stop playing logi like an assault. IT WAS NOT THEIR INTENDED ROLE.
And where can i read about the intention of their role?
I think im full filling my role closely perfectly.
I go forward, bring a drop up link in a covered place, prepare the area with rep hives and supply hives for
my heavys and assaults and then i go shoot people. If heavys moving forward or my assaults, i follow and bring new
equipments in. If blueberries than cannot figure out that there is a rep hive on the ground which can be used either
for defending an area, or to cover back to get repairs, is it then my fault that i help and shoot other people?
Is the intented role for all logis in a match only to lick others arses by using the rep tool and follow the heavys all the way?
No!
I accept if we are maybe to strong for other assaults, but our equipment can be easily destroyed by flux, our guys by nades,
and i should be another puppet?
Im getting sick of those logi talks.
