OK you introduce PC which is just an expensive version of Chromosome's Corp battle. You offer no way to practice this game. If you brought back the corp battle system, not only would this allow people to prepare for PC it would also allow people to create interesting new battles on their own. Tank battles, Dog Fights, ETC. Your current limited in game entertainment (same 3 games) is part of why so many people are leaving this games in droves. So since you have said don't plan to offer private matches anytime soon. Bringing back the old System of corp battles with 16 players (I'd prefer 16 but would settle for 8) would help with the general boredom people are experiencing with this game. It would more importantly help corps get experience with PC, which is TOTALLY different then public matches.

No, but seriously. This has been something we've been chatting about with Team True Grit for the past little while, is ways to bring back corp battles that don't involve restrictive timers or massive costs. Ways for corps to just throw down, and maybe get something out of the process.
Be it raiding without challenging districts, a flat out 'challenge' option or what have you.
But basically... They want these back too. We want them back. Everyone wants them back
Edit : So, since this is something being actively discussed... Now is the time to make "CCP, DO IT LIKE THIS" posts, to give the CPM stuff to throw at CCP. WTB Corp battle thread. Go!
What is the time frame on this?? I know private matches has a 1 year time frame announced in may. Just asking. I mean they only have to bring back something they already had. |

This isn't what this petition is about. Seriously more FW battles is something that should've happened months ago. There should be a list of partially full and empty battles you can join at any given time. I don't see why you couldn't make that happen in a few days if you wanted to, the only change you would have to make is how frequently the battles spawn.
This solution you have outlined here while being a small step in the right direction. This will help practice for PC battles. It doesn't cover the fun aspect of the petition. Since you are not providing new and interesting ways to play the game, anytime soon. We want to be able to setup our own closed games, we can set the rules verbally and then play them, as we choose to. We do not require rewards for these games. Bringing back the old corp battle system seems the fastest and easiest way to make this happen.
Ideally what we would want is what is customizable private matches. No one however wants or is going to wait for v2.0 for this to happen, while drowning in the current repetitive environment. So I think bring back the old Corp Battles would be the easiest and fastest solution for both Programmer and Player. |

lol I will setup 20-30 in the first week, half will be just for fun battles. Tanks only Dogfights ETC.
