I'm having much the same experience. Before things even get close, half the team disappears. The rest go up someplace high and hold sniper rifles. No idea if they fire them. But if they did they might attract the attention of the other team, who are dying for someone to kill.
There is no way to even hold one objective with snipers making up more than half of what you have for a team.
You can't do anything but feed the other side kills, and throw your gear away.... Or go hide like the rest of the team.
But try an look all cool like when ya do it, 'cause we're bad ass mercs an' stuff...
I'm colossally disappointed in this game.
I want to like it. I want to enjoy playing it.
But it's just not happening |

Go find people. Get a microphone. Get a corp. On the rare occasion when I solo queue, I can find a decent squad in 2-3 games if I try. Getting wiped still happens. Switch to cheap suit and take a few out, its no big deal.
I think you missed the point of what I was saying.
I don't care about getting wiped. I don't care about KDR. I don't even care about winning, or losing some gear.
I actually like hard fights, when it comes down so close you don't know who won until you see the end screen.
That's awesome, but rare. I don't expect it. I just like it. But that's beside the point.
What the problem is the team just giving up at the first sign that it might not be an easy win.
Then quitting. either leaving the game or running off to sit up in the hills.
When it's two or three, or for the sake of argument, four against the entire opposing team? You just get stomped.
I expect they will do something to fix the matchmaking. Honestly, even being on the winning side of a massively one sided match sux. It's. boring.
And with the way teams are quitting, both sides of the match are standing around waiting for it to end. |
