I have heard of people using it, but I am not sure if it is worth it. Currently I have a proto minaret assault, proto swarm and proto SMG. Though, I find that most of the time I still get killed by most people because I tend to engage at range. Plus I usually have to depend on people to protect me anyways. So I thought of trading in my SMG, nanite injector and repair tool, I'll carry over my nano hives from my current suit.
You guys think this is a good decision? I don't have a logi suit to try it out and my SO is tight right now. Should I go for it? |

If you are, it has to be Amarr logi, because it's the only one with a sidearm slot. I recommend it, though- I'm going Amarr Logi for that exact reason, so I can run swarm/SMG AV on a logi suit with 2 nanohives. Soon the patch will come, so that suit gets the sidearm slot at all levels instead of just at proto. |

sure its fine because the only ones to bother you on top of the buildings 90% is vehicles, so yea go for it. |

I don't use vehicles and I destroy most vehicles from the ground. Also, you forgot about snipers and forge gunners. |

snipers usually don't look up and forge gunners are usually sniping so they too don't look up either. av on the ground is just stupid when you can recall a ds once you get on top of building and place done some uplinks and ammo. |

proto rep hive and proto ammo hive, drive around in a charydbis and get up close to tanks then hop out and laidai spam |

I'm skilling into Swarms but plan on using them on my ADV Basic Medium. Pointless and deadly trying to use only swarms on a logi since they removed their dumb-fire element, and most assaults will have a better setup for the occasion you have to have swarms. |

Disagree, with 1.3 Amarr logi is going to be the king of AV, with a sidearm slot at all levels, and 3 equip slots at ADV. |

The way to do it is to stay behind heavies and assaults. Keep them alive and well equipped with ammo. Now you have your own personal guardians. |
