I don't think its a matter of SP, but of time. I'd say 1-2 months of solid playing and your not a noon(I don't mean 2 months of non stop playing, just a good 2 months of playing and learning the game is all) |

Honestly don't believe SP mean as much as people claim, there's still a lot of knowledge to be learned outside of skill books just like any other FPS.

When you learn that you can't beat certain weapons/suits by using the same strategy instead of crying on the forums for nerfs. The day you realize that you need to back pedal a bit and use a sidearm to take out a scout, engage a heavy at a longer range, close your lanes from snipers, get above a MD user, use AV and teamwork against a tank... etc, you're no longer a newberry. |

I have to disagree with your first sentence.
There are a bunch of vets that do it, too. Especially when stuff gets nerved/buffed that they were and were not speced into (respectively).

I'd like to know where you get this info considering how CCP has not released any info (other than names and relational ranges) of the other racial AR variants. The current AR are intended to be a generalists weapon, able to perform decently in all situations but masterfully at none. Given that description that AR as it stands seems to fit its intended role perfectly.
It sounds like someone has been owned by AR users a few times too many. |

When you can fire a MD round straight up in the air and wait for it to come back down then elbow it before it lands on you, however that only means you have potential to be a non-noob to fully graduate the elbow'd projectile must blow up at least 3 HAV's 2 DS's 4 LAV's and both MCC's.
At this point you are average to become LEET you must spec into Gallente scout and stack complex armour plates and go positive. |

Trust me, if Dust is a Eve analogue, the Gallente AR will end up being the weakest overall.
It may have the highest damage per shot, but it will have the shortest range, therefore it will not be the weapon that all of the "elites" have now.
It will play fourth fiddle to the Gauss Rifle, Scrambler Rifle and Combat Rifle respectively. |
