1.3 patch notes... The only thing other than Cal Logi, Flaylock and Fused nades nerf that I found exciting was "smoothed out player movement in the distance", that was really annoying.
Other than that, I'm surprised by how tiny this patch is. Is this really all CCP did in a month? |

As I have been saying, 1.3 is small. 1.4 on the other hand if it shapes up to what the early guessing goes is much more significant. How is 1.4 going to be any different. Both get a single month after all... |

Both get a single month after all... 1.4 is better versed and more used to the new schedule, also things that been on the stove are about to get done cooking or got done shortly after 1.3 code lock. This is provided QA doesn't gut them out. Also code lock isn't in yet so CPM will have some voicing into it. So we're going to have a bi monthly big update and a bi monthly small update? I.E 1.3 small, 1.4 big, 1.5 small, 1.6 big? What's the point of monthly releases then? Most of the stuff in 1.3 sounds like stuff you put into hot fixes more than anything. |

Maken Tosch wrote:Seriously, OP? You weren't paying attention this whole month? I knew for the past couple of weeks that 1.3 was going to be this small just by reading the dev blogs and various dev posts here in the forums. That and following Iron Wolf and Hans.
If you were expecting more, than you need to pay more attention. Dude, I am on IRC all the time, I KNEW this update is going to be small, but I didn't expect it to be THAT small. This stuff is the kind of stuff you would find in hotfixes more than anything. |

Whats the point? to fix glaring issues in updates sooner, instead of waiting for big updates every 3 months while bugs and glitches continue to drag down. this way they can patch outstanding issues sooner so when a patch drops if something is F'ed up they can fix it withing the month in most cases instead of having to wait another 3 months to fix it. Bi monthly would be better if every two months we get a update the size of 1.3. Really, this is the kind of stuff you fix in a hot fix. |
