Whether your healing a heavy
Reviving a teammate
or simple placing uplinks all those help the team.
I honestly don't believe the Logistics suit should be used for any sort of frontline combat.
We have an Assault suit for that.
yeah we dont need LOGIs (as main OP posted) running in the ''FRONTLINE'' obliterating heavies and assaults. Logis are to increase the effectiveness of a squad and also be able to defend themselves, but not for ASAULT purposes.
I agree the ''TANKING'' bonus should be for the ASSAULT Dropsuits, not LOGI ones.
Of course now every single cal logi will say, ''im a true logi'', and im not happy. But you know what? I can run Tank Cal logi (because i DO have proto level cal logi), with 4 Cx shield ext,1 cmp dam mod, 2 Cpx kintetics and a Light weapon of my choosing, and i have so much CPU that i will end up equipping nanohives and nanite injectors etcetc... The fact that i had some CPU and PG to spare does not mean im a true logi. true logis stay with their squad at all times, and that s NOT whats been happening lately.
The CAL logi is still VERY WELL fitted for logi purposes, still having the most slots and STILL has a lot of tanking capabilities... |

well time to fit a good ol' Six kin SMG and a little less shield tanking then brobro...
Or change into Assault CAL :3 Or have more fitting skills :3 |

At this point, I'm gonna stop playing until 1.4.
At which point we'll see what they have in store, and FF14 will be out. I can decide then if I care to keep playing this game.
Given CCPs track record of underwhelming updates, more likely than not I'm just gonna bounce.
Me personally dont care if players are going to stop playing just because they dont have their OP suit. Who knows, maybe new players now wont get stomped and start playing the game... So in the end we loose try hards , we gain new player base.
Hell, and dont think im 100% biased, im a SCOUT player but my ''assault suit'' is a caldari logi, and im happy with this nerf....CAL LOGI still have enough slots to adapt to almost any situation... |

@ Zdub
Yeah the CPU/PG Decrease might be little too much.Specially the amount. But on the PLUSside, you still got 4 low powered modules to increase it PLUS passive skills.
I would have gone with changing the Bonuses and reducing the ''LOW'' slots to 3 (so it had the same amount as the other Logis)
Still, whatever they do is fine by me. Im just tired of seeing Proto cal logis overpowering everything in a game and then the players thinking they are actually THAT good, but cant see that they are running around in OP suits....
Sounds biased, and it is. I dont want to run with Cal Logi in order to be able to kill otherr cal logis... And i hate flux nades. |
