Hay CCP, first just wanted to let you know that your doing a great job! The game is showing improvement compared to when it was first released. I feel the need to post this because people keep complaining about stuff, there always saying: "nerf this, re-balance that, fix it CCP or else". I have over 12.5sp and to tell you the truth I don't have a problem with the Flay lock pistol or armor tanking or av grenades, (and yes I've use and died to all of these and any thing else you could think of)and the reason I don't have a problem with these things is because I am a good member of the community, one who doesn't believe that death is an unacceptable part of the game. Unfortunately the community is not made up of us good players who enjoy game as a whole. Instead it is made up of a bunch of spoiled blueberries who feel as if the game should tailer to them first and everyone else third, and super hardcore raisins how feel that they know what's best for the game because they have been playing the longest and that anyone that doesn't agree with them is a noob.
A good gaming community is made up happy friendly players who welcome and help new players to find their way, players that have faith in their devs to move the game forward. And that true about a part of dust's community, however that portion of the community is not the most vocal, and tend to be out yelled by the raving loonies in the majority.
I don't know, I guess what I'm saying is just ignore the community for a bit of at least close the feedback and requests part of the forum for a while, in the hopes that they learn to stop whining so much. It's not like this section of the forums isn't too useful at the moment anyway, take the next 3 comments for example, chances are that 2 of them are negative and at least 1 of those comments came from someone who did not read the whole post (if you did read the whole post refer to me as Mr. 816 in your reply). And that's only a small sample of the behavior that can be expected here on the forums.
Now I'm not saying that dust is perfect, but what game is? It's like I said before, I have faith in the game and I have faith in you CCP, whether you use complex math equations or you just flip a coins. I feel that you will make the right choices with or without the approval of the community (myself included).

Thanks for reading my some what of a rant post, and yes I am awear that there are good people out there in the community. But really those people are in the minority, I mean the topic of the week is "how CCP abandoned us" because they didn't do an update on the feedback from last week. And really what's the worst that could happen to the game if CCP says "ok we won't be listening for a while"? Will the spoiled berries quit the game? Well the rotten grapes tell the devs that their dumb for not listening to them?
Look while it is true that there are good players out in the community like Cross and the black jackal, the rest of the community is a bunch butt hurt babies that think if they QQ long enough they'll have their way. |

Thank you for talking the time to read the post. But your a good exsample of why CCP needs to stop treating us like kings. Your having fun shouldn't be based on wether or not the things you ask for get added to the game, it should be based on what's actually in the game. And if CCP was ignoing us then we would probably have a much nicer game on our hands (imbalanced as hell but still playable ) and so what if we "ignored" I have no ideas how to develop an FPS but that hasn't stopped me from enjoying planetside or battlefield or even minecraft, and those games seem to be doing fine with out me trying to tell them how to make me have more fun. |

I have a few questions for you sir.
Did you even read the OP? Yes feedback is needed but does it really need its own section one the forums, all the time? Will CCP drive the game off a cliff if they don't have us to tell them all the things that are wrong with the game? Are they so dafted that they can't find and kill a few bugs on their own? |
