Unorganized Ninja Infantry Tactics is now recruiting!
UNIT. is an up and coming group of mercenaries formed by the entire core membership of a top 100 corporation (Royal Assassins Guild) who decided to strike out and choose our own fate. In just over 10 days we have risen to the top half of the leaderboard, with over 2000 kills a day despite being a smaller corp.
Our primary goal is to regain our rightful place in the top 100 and crush anyone who stands in our way. If you think you have what it takes to be a member, send in an application today. We have only a few minor prerequisites:
- Must be able to speak and understand English - Must be willing to work as a team to focus on victory and not individual goals such as KDR - Must not be extremely annoying or whiny - Working microphone preferred but not essential
That's it! All types of players of all skill levels using any classes/races/specializations welcome! We will integrate you into our existing structure and our veteran players can provide you with any guidance you may need to become the best soldier you can.

Our previous recruitment thread had been hijacked and gone off topic, so I decided to start a new one. Please be mindful of forum rules! |

If you are still not sure whether or not you are UNIT material after my brilliant sales pitch, perhaps the following tables will be useful:
Yes, join us:
- You are mature and can competently follow orders and work with your squadmates - You can speak English - You enjoy playing dust seriously but not TOO seriously, nobody likes to lose but it is just a freaking game after all. - You are human (we have members of all age groups, races, and walks of life, including actual females) - More tankers, true logis, or forgegunners might be nice
Perhaps you should look elsewhere:
- You care more about your own KDR than about helping the team - You are 12 years old and whine a lot - You constantly complain about drama with the tweakers you live with and how they f*** up your things (true story, sadly) - You have ever uttered the words "I wish this game was more like COD" - Cry to CCP for a respec every time your OP/FotM equipment gets rebalanced

Bumpity bump bump. Remember, the name is not "unorganized ninja infant" as it (unfortunately) comes up on the match board in-game... Didn't see that issue ahead of time, lol.
It's UNIT.: Unorganized Ninja Infantry Tactics. Apply today! |

I fought against some of your guys, all of them were using core flaylocks and fuse nades. Even though they wrecked us in kills we still won since none of your guys actually did anything to hack the null cannons. I suggest you rethink your requirements. |

Thank you for your insightful and scientific assessment of our ability. I cannot comment on a specific battle as I was clearly not there since I use neither flaylocks or contact grenades, as apparently "all" the people you referenced did. Of note, those are extremely popular weapons now.
More importantly, I would like to remind the poster (AGAIN) about the forum rules. Please extend us the same courtesy we extend to others in not posting unsolicited comments on recruitment threads. I would prefer not to flag/report any posts but eventually this sort of thing becomes tiresome. |

Played your guys as well in one of the most brutal and closely fought matches I've had the privilege to play. The way you guys used the map and made us run around chasing after your forge gunners and hack teams was pretty clever, cost us one drop ship to dislodge your guys from an overwatch position but was worth it. when I heard "Job done" and saw two buddies jump off a build to land in front of me.
It was close, we did win with our three man team. Great game, hope to see more of ya' around cause it got really brutal in the following matches when our squads went up against one another. |

Those matches are what we all live for. Nothing like seeing the screen fade with both sides having 1 or 2 ticks left, not even being sure if you won or not until the victory page comes up. Feels good, don't it? Even when you lose it's still somewhat gratifying to go down fighting to the last man.
What the previous poster said could very well be true, of course, as a new corp we can't afford to be elitist at this point and will go through some growing pains as we integrate new members. All are welcome, nonetheless! If you turn out not to be a good fit (i.e., if you really are just running around spamming grenades and not trying to win) but we will do everything we can to teach you how be the best merc you can. We will almost certainly have a veteran player knowledgeable in your chosen path that can help you optimize what you do best.
(p.s., your check is in the mail adamance, you make an excellent shill, lol!)

Feels good, don't it? Even when you lose it's still somewhat gratifying to go down fighting to the last man. I think I remember that fight, it was on the bridge map. We shot down the first dropship and the second one got us. I pulled out my SMG a little too late and your buddies cleaned us out. What the previous poster said could very well be true, of course, as a new corp we can't afford to be elitist at this point and will go through some growing pains as we integrate new members. All are welcome, nonetheless! If you turn out not to be a good fit (i.e., if you really are just running around spamming grenades and not trying to win), you may be asked to leave, but that is a very rare situation and we will do everything we can to teach you how be the best merc you can. We will almost certainly have a veteran player knowledgeable in your chosen path that can help you optimize what you do best. (p.s., your check is in the mail adamance, you make an excellent shill, lol!) Classy I remember one match was Manus and the other was that bridge map but with the massive tower complex hosting B and C. That was some street fighting right there. |

I would like to extend our services by offering you into PC's, free-of-charge (for the first couple or so); we often hold "fun" or "training" PC's in order for our members to get a feel of what PC is about. This is a great way for us, and other growing corps, to see and experience PC without having to pay the "big-ringers" to ensure victory. We will also be available for any of your PC's, if you choose, to fill in any spots or just help you guys out period.
We have several allies that are in the top-corps as well as EVE personnel for support. We are doing this because we are big supporters of the smaller, indie corps, and have faced many of the problems and trivializations that small corps are faced with in the beginning stages of PC.
Please contact: Cherry Bear-Claw Maxovrkll - CEO Noein Blankets - Captain
The names above are our DUST names and are usually available throughout most of the day (One being US and the other UK). If unable to reach any of us, please contact:
Yokal Bob - Foxhound Ambassador
We usually have someone on covering as many time zones as we can in order to accommodate allies and potential allies/investors. Thank you for your time and looking forward to hearing from you. Roy Ventus, XOF, Foxhound Corporation |

Thank you for the offer Roy; we have actually recently received some other similar offers, both to join existing alliances and to merge with larger more elite corps. Our membership is certainly interested in more PC opportunities and will consider your offer along with the others. I will discuss with my CEO and once we (the corporation, all members have a say in UNIT) have made a decision, will let you know. Thanks again.

I actually might have a proposition for you already, if you're looking to specialize in work outside of district owning. I came up with the idea of Security Corporations, linked here Security Corporations, and essentially it's about corporations who offer security services such as backup assistance, district monitoring, threat monitoring, and counterintelligence support. A Security Corporation could be tied down to one or two corporations with a security contract or they could offer services with limit, depends on the corporation.
I'm just offering this as one way of assistance. If your corporation doesn't want to take to this experimental structure, then we will definitely find another route for you guys that helps you find your niche. |

It's an interesting concept, not 100% sure the mechanics are in place in the game yet for it to really work though. Will pass it along to our directors when I can, I'm currently working ludicrous hours but by the end of the weekend I can talk with them about it. (p.s., thanks CCP for doing double xp the week I'm working 80 hours!) |
