1. Dropships are hard to enjoy. The only people that play are those that WANT to do it despite the low monetary gain, the constant easy-AV able to drop us on a dime, and more. I am one of those. A single gun, the forge gun, at just about any tier with damage mods will make the role near non-existent.
2. Shield Tanks. I am an armor tank, but I can understand their problem. I've seen some GREAT shield builds, however, the class as a whole is underpowered. Their reps should never beat armor reps of the same meta due to passive regen, but it should be closer per pulse so they could stand their ground more to AV.
3. AV weaponry. God forbid a tank actually be a presence on the battlefield. I can really only king kong public matches with my top tier tank build. What can I do in PC? Almost diddly considering most of the opposing team are carrying proto nades and will suppress the hell out of almost any role I can field. There needs to be fall of damage on the forge gun. There needs to be EITHER more resistances for armor and shields or a decrease in AV damage. It should NOT be the tanks and dropships cowering in the corner but the AV that needs to fear us.
4. LACK OF COMMUNICATION. This Vehicle developer is a joke! No posts from Blam in 2 months? No real development in fixing this horrible vehicle experience? It is depressing. I am not alone in feeling the developer apathy. It is as if they are keeping this game going just for the small bit of Aurum sales they can squeeze from this horrid experience. For example, what the heck is going on with our vehicle armor repairs?
There are so many more....
All we are asking is make this game FUN to be a vehicle.
We don't want god mode, but hell, I would like to be a role that isn't regularly sidelined when it comes to PC and other modes.

I dont even want to use my shield tank anymore.
An infantry can equip with full proto gear when I have to choose for 1-2 proto and the other item I fit are being crap due to lack of PG.
I'm stuck using those damm missile wich I hate rather than the blaster I love due the the fact those damm blaster take half my PG.
This is ridiculous. Lot of people been complaining over and over and over again on the same subject in over an hundred of topic and we got no answer from any Dev on this subject.
I wasted 7m sp on vehicule and because i didnt had time on the small time Windows CCP gave for the second respec after we found out the waste of SP vehicule had becomes i'm stuck in this ****** role where you only lose ISK...
Maybe it's time some people in the Dev Team start losing their Job to make the other Work efficiently

Their reps should never beat armor reps of the same meta due to passive regen, but it should be closer per pulse so they could stand their ground more to AV. Boosters and armor reps should not be identical. Making boosters slightly weaker than armor reps because of passive regen would be making them nearly identical.
Let me start by simply stating the ideologies for tanking for armor and shield.
Armor only has two kinds of tanks: buffer and active. Buffer is obviously the one where you stack armor plates with resists without any armor reps. These fits are used in conjunction with logistics. Active fits don't have as much buffer generally, but they are fitted with armor reps that help repair armor.
Shield has three kinds of tanks: buffer, active, and passive. Buffer and passive are almost identical, as you can pretty much get both at the same time. Shield buffer tanking is no different than armor buffer tanking. You stack shield extenders and shield hardeners. The only difference is that stacking shield extenders helps to increase recharge rate as well, which in turn increases your passive tank.
A passive tank relies on the passive recharge rate of your shields in addition to resistances. This can be accomplished by recharge mods, but buffer tanks typically do a better job. There is something that is an oddball: you got shield flux coils that go into your low slots (as opposed to mid slots in EVE where shield modules go). These shield flux coils divert energy from your capacitor to your shield recharge. So you can stack extenders and resists in your medium slots, and shield flux coils in your low slots to achieve maximum buffer and recharge.
Active tanks require the use of shield boosters, shield hardeners, and at times shield boost amplifiers. Shield boosters can do more hp/s than armor reps, but at the cost of higher capacitor usage. Shield boost amplifiers simply give a bonus to boost amount, but you use up a medium slot for that. Active shield tanking is referred to as burst tanking because typically you cannot run your booster forever, but rather for a very limited time. Burst tanking recovers vast amount of shields in a short timeframe. You can even recover full shields while in combat, depending on your fit and ship.
How to correctly apply this ideology into Dust? Make shield boosters do more hp/s than armor reps, but they would last for a short amount of time and provide less total hp than armor reps. Example: 5000hp in 5 seconds. Your booster will pulse every second for 1000 shield. Armor reps will only pulse about 400 armor every second, but last three times longer. In the end, the best shield booster will do 5000hp while the best armor rep will do 6200 armor. |

It's funny, cause CCP claimed they would be yielding on new material in effort to improve "core" game mechanics (namely balancing). Problem is, they're putting quite a bit of time into structuring PC better - something that not many people care about. I know they want to try to balance everything at once, but I think when you find the perfect balance between infantry and vehicles (as well with other vehicles; per Dropship vs. Tank), the rest of the game falls together. What they need to do is just tell us all what they are planning to do and what is constraining them, and just have more regular Dev posts, and we could probably get this damn game fun again.
On that note, I wouldn't mind playing Chromosome again until we balance Uprising. |

The Community as a whole would feel better with more feedback. No feedback equals a bad sign and I have seen it before in games such as Starhawk just before SE dropped them like a bag of bricks... |
