What if we move armor repair from low slot to high slot (similar to shields and their regulators) and also remove the movement penalty of armor plates (but only if they are 40, 60 80 at the proto level). But only do so once the rail rifle + combat rifle are released? |

so gallente armor tanking can match caldari shield tanking (even tho lore-wise it is incorrect). |

Also, in the end we need to use more slots to match you in eHP and regeneration, so it still doesn't fix anything.

also, this is true. What if make armor plates high slots and repair low? |

What if make armor plates high slots and repair low? Sigh... Please refrain from trying to balance this game as you are obviously suggesting things without thinking it through. And about your amarr comment, Gallente suits are more armor reliant than Amarr, so making armor tanking only work properly on Amarr would be silly.
what would you propose?
also, according to eve lore (from what i have read and heard) gallente are armor repairers and armarr are armor tankers.
also, some of the best ideas are simple suggestions. im not requesting immediate changes, i am just looking for a discussion concerning the pros and cons of this hypothetical in which i proposed. |

Yes, lore, but in Dust it's different. Amarr are the dual tankers of Dust, you have equal high/low slots and high equal shield/armor HP. There are far too many things needed to do to fix armor, but trust me, I have suggested a lot of things and made sure it came to the CPM. Now it's just the waiting game.
Isnt it supposed to be one universe, one war? if in eve amarr are armor tankers but in dust amarr are dual tankers, wouldnt that cause a larger disconnection between the two games?
You get a toyota supra. you upgrade the engine, you change the shocks for drifting, the wheels, etc. It becomes fully customized to perform on the streets by taking sharp turns.
Then you get a nascar racer or indy 500 racer behind the wheel expected to race down a mountain side. Does that make sense? wouldnt it be better to get a racer that is used to street drifting?

Amarr have the highest potential eHP than any other suit.
respectfully, it could also be the slowest. |
