i was just in a ambush match with several dropships flying around
and at the end of the match i looked at the sky to see a python.
upon looking at this python i looked at the bottom left corner of the screen
only to see it had over 4000 shields
in aw i stood there amazed as he/she continued to mow me down with the front mounted blaster turret.

with the game over i returned to my merc quarters thinking there's no way in...
then i thought is there?

then i continued to make a python fitting with a front mounted blaster turret that had over 4000 shields
and thought well look at that.

and here i am so to that random python pilot i say congratulations on creating a flying gunnlogi lol

That's an awful setup.

To be fair, my preferred method of killing Assault Dropships is via Dropship Kamakaze. I'm literally considering getting just 1 level in ADS so I can have the mobility to properly hug enemy ADS's. Not anywhere near cost effective, but oh my God it's so glorious.

4000 shields may sound good, but with a python, you either trade defense for speed, or vic versa. Personally, i have a jovian powerplant, a proto-damage mod, a afterburner, 1 proto-shield extender, and 2 proto-shield resistance mods. this allows me to balance both a good defense, and a great offense, while still maintaining a very fast profile. I can even fit 2 XT-accelerated missle launchers on it, so it absolutely destroys any other pilot i might get into a dogfight with, while also 2-shotting full-hp infantry from a distance.

lol speaking of dogfights i ran into an incubus pilot that i knew had proto turrets because of the kill feed
while i was in a blaster python there was no way i was gonna win this dogfight

he ended up ramming me lol and im pretty sure my ship cost less then his as mine had adv turrets lol

i guess some people just assume that no matter what happens a python will win in a dogfight

btw that was me, 4200 shields, 772 armor, scattered ION blaster running ambush all day had to be.

the load-out was weaker then my cycled variants due to blasters consuming so much PG had pretty bad battles at the end of the day but got 1 in that was 32 kills, 19 assists and 0 deaths / 0 loss of ADS, 10 mill ISK lost today though so I hope the market cost goes down quicker (they said they would make it cheaper again).

well I already explained the PG thing and stuff just going to come in and say, I`ll take you on A2A without an after burner, cuz I don`t need to run. I have a list of pilots that I heard were good, forum pilots and pilots that looked good, I obviously can`t know all of them but from the Myron glory days to now there's only a few left,, I`m very eager to battle Djiin Roku or something since I keep hearing he's the one to beat, I think we need an air superiority mode and make this list go by faster lol

I actually just now had a dogfight against an incubus, who seemed fully tanked, as it took a little more shots to take him down, although once his armor was gone it was over for him even with his armor reps, and he exploded in mid-air.

I'll gladly duel you man haha, i have also taken down some people who thought they had an awesome fit, and i haven't been taken out in a really long time.
