So many nerfs because everyone in the forums is crying and when something finally gets nerfed the people who requested the nerf get that little ego rush of I win. Honestly that is not how Dust should be played we should have to change our strategy in game to kill what we feel is overpowered. Would you ever approach a heavy from the front in a scout suit with a sniper rifle? I feel dust is conforming to the weaker instant battle group then the people who think to win or who are in PC. So with that being said I hope to god everyone saves their sp because CCP is completely unpredictable in their actions. You might sink 10 mill sp in to something to only find it nerfed to **** in 1.3 or in game glitches breaking your role. So guys I suggest half of all the sp you make you save for the future when this game is in better shape.
Remember guys be careful what you spend your sp on and watch out for nerfs chances are if something is simply good it'll be nerfed. If everyone started one shotting each other with militia forge guns tomorrow it would be nerfed.

As a Callogi, I'm glad they are looking at better ways to make our suits fit the role they were intended for. While I'm going to miss the extra HP from my shield extenders, at least I can still perform my resupply, repair, review, REMOTE EXPLOSIVES roles. |

I spent my points on Amarr Assault and laser weapons because I wanted to be an assault player with lasers. Whatever happens along the way I know its because they're trying to make it fill that role. I didn't spec into a logistics suit hoping to be an assault player. |

This is why I put all my SP into damage mods. Missiles, Mass Drivers, & Flaylocks may be nerfed, but with the right mods I can adapt and kick ass with any weapon. And I can enjoy some sweet tears from taking down ADV suits with my Exile rifle. |

Truth about the damage mods. The same can also be said about core suit skills. +1 for you. |

This isn't a cry I'm telling people what's happening so they can better prepare them selves for what might happen to their role. It's smart and a lot of good players have said don't rush in to it spend your sp wisely or you will make mistakes. Saving a bulk of your sp is another good idea unless you are in concrete in your role in New Eden. However your role could be nerfed and is the main reason I have posted this thread.
I want to let you know your dumbed down unintelligent comments are the main reason local and the forums are going to hell. How about putting some time and effort in to your threads and comments? |

Impossible to be disappointed. A year and a half later, I'm still doing good. |

Shield HAVs, Large Missile Turrets, these are very good missiles can beat blasters not railguns but they are a good in between for infantry and armor |

Did you ever wonder why there are so many changes?
Because the game needs work and testing. This would ideally have been done during Beta-testing but...ooh well. Stop acting like it's a finished product (yeah yeah I know that it will never be finished, I'm talking about the basics).
Welcome at Gamma-testing! Spend your SP however you like because the game is meant to be played & tested. |

Do the math and realize that 20 less cpu is going to take a much larger bite than it seems so your equipment options become more limited I'll wait and reserve my QQ, if I actually ever QQ'd, for when we get the final numbers. Right now the wording is still a bit unclear on what the reduction is on Adv and Proto suits so we'll see.
In any case, Proto suits get 4 low slots, which means I still have the option of putting fitting mods on there.

Welcome at Gamma-testing! Spend your SP however you like because the game is meant to be played & tested. 2 words full release Well, from what I've seen of the way CCP works, nothing they make will ever be in 'full release'. Over the years expect to see more tweaking and adjusting to suits, weapons, mods, equipment, etc. All these tweaks will give rise to new FOTM fits and gameplay, new playstyles will rise while some may fall by the wayside, and the viability of other fits will increase or decrease accordingly.
From the changes, Caldari Logi suits are still capable of doing what they were supposed to be doing, i.e. logi stuff. Just because they're no longer OP (and yes, I'm a cal logi using TAR) doesn't mean they're no longer viable IMO. I specced into both of these fully aware that they were OP and could expect a nerf in the near future. Enjoyed it while it lasted and will now focus on trying out different things ingame. Keeps the game interesting |
