No one had a problem with LAV'S right?, Why did CCP do this?, There is just no reason, you say they are Over-Powered?, no they are not they are so weak to destroy,literally!, I killed an LAV by accident today this is just proof that you should bring back LAV'S, I really don't like paying ISK for vehicles, do you? |

This hasn't stopped them.
I was in a match earlier where I got ran over by an Onikuma Impact LAV while I was waddling my fat ass through an open field trying to gain a foothold in the complex because I couldn't afford to call in an LAV to haul myself in. This was in a match against primarily Dios X and some other Protostompers where they began calling them in after they had 3 out of the 4 objectives fully secured.
All it did was restrict the MLT Murder taxi to rich players from huge Megacorps Not like they don't have enough ways to Pubstomp already.

I think very fragile free bikes (single seat and no weapons) would be a reasonable compromise. It's hard to play murder-taxi, and they'll be very vulnerable to AV mines, AV grenades, swarms etc. but it'll be a big help getting around bigger maps, especially for heavies. |

Haven't checked but I'm pretty sure I'll still have free LAVs from my BPO I got in the 100$ pack + a few module BPOs.
Either way, I had actually already started purchasing the standard (non-militia) balochs because trading a bit of speed for massive amounts of health isn't a bad deal for a murder taxi, and I tend not to lose them very easily. |

1. People did have a problem with them.
2. CCP did this because people kept using them as nothing more than murder taxis. I don't mind murder taxis and it was easy for me to just kill them with AV grenades and militia swarm launchers. It was the mere than that they just kept coming in with no expense to the driver who is fitted with a starter suit as well.
3. It was no problem to me so long as I stayed inside the city, but most of the action was outside of the city which was a risky proposition. As a scout, I had no problem dodging LAVs like it was a Mexican bull fight but there are other players out there who are not into scouts such as the heavies and logis who don't have the luxury of agility and speed as I do and thus are too damn easy to run over especially when they are forced to run across open areas.
4. Don't like paying ISK for vehicles? Too ******* bad. Get in line with everyone else who has to pay for their crap. And if you think 40,000 ISK is expensive, wait until the players get full control of the market along with industry. You will be paying vehicles up the nose. |
