The fact that the flux grenade has a long fuse makes this a1-2 punch something you need to set up carefully.
It's not something you can pull off after someone spots you and starts shooting.
So yeah, if you have time for all the preparation you can get a quick kill. It just takes time... |

It's not CCP's fault that people have found some good weapon combos. Stop trying to get a balanced gun nerfed for no reason. Unlike the Flaylock, this strategy CAN be countered. |

So can the flaylock, but meh. You just can't run straight into one like most AR users seem to want to do. You have to keep range.

Using a scout's agility to run and jump around like a fool also helps. This also works on flux grenades, incidentally. |

Flux an MD or Flaylock combo is not OP. You can dodge grenades up close usually (unless the guy timed his throw well enough producing the effect of contact flux grenades) or keep a very large distance from them to make it easier to dodge flux grenades. MD and flaylock are very hard to use against you if you are slightly behind the peak of a small hill.
Core flaylock is OP though and that will probably be nerfed in splash radius soon enough. |

*shrugs* its a good tactic and you only get 3 fluxes while you get 3 clips of ammo, you normally won't use a whole clip on one person more so if you use a flux, but a hive is needed to run this fit effective so no uplinks. the MD is good on armor and weak on shields and the flux removes shields. its not an instant i win and requires planning and tactics as well as time. |
