Take away the automatic self-destruct that vehicles have. As it's meant to prevent spam, it's not really needed anymore, and is more of a pain.
Or, change it so a vehicle will only start damaging itself if the owner calls in another vehicle. |

No. If your vehicle is burning up and you failed to have a logibro with you or didn't bother to fit an armor repair module, that's your own damn fault. |

This is a very good suggestion. Listen here, CCP!

Hrmmm, there is a problem though when someone hangs up their LAV, abandons it and it sits there, while someone else cannot call in their vehicle because there is a vehicle limit that has been maxed out. It would be less of a problem in Corp matches, but in pubs, I suspect even paying for their LAV would not keep this from happening. |

Yes please, it always leaves me a bit uneasy when I park my vehicle a good distance off before engaging a base that it will just self destruct by the time I get back. |

Yes it does.
I disagree with this, but thats mostly because of the new tactic of parking LAVs in front of letters so they either need to be destroyed, hacked, or jumped over to get to the objective. |

Remember when you cannot deploy a vehicle because too many free LAVs were inbound?
Or when they all decide to employ the aforementioned LAV obstacle array in front of a Letter Objective?
How about when Chromosome failed consistently when there are too many vehicles inside the tighter industrial sections.
Leaving everybody's LAV around is just a waste of resource.
Burn them all down. Kitten, burn them if they move too slow. |
