You either enjoy playing it or you don't.
You suggest we look at it as a pure lobby FPS in that case. Then what stops people from going and playing (Finished) lobby FPS games, with people who don't lie to their customers. You must see the problem. If we look at it as a game without a grind, we may as well go play an actual complete, good, FPS without a grind! |

If most people thought about this, your game would have like...10 people playing it at any given time! How cool is that! 10 people per time zone!! |

I think the point people are making is that you are asking for a fundamental change to the nature of the game. That would make it a different game. If you want to play a different game, no-one is stopping you, but plenty of people like the way it is now (in terms of RPG elements, if not in terms of balance and bug count).
4500 players. I say half are beta vets who feel obligated to play, like myself (This is my Alt) before I quit.
Then some more (20%) of those are simply people who are in the battle academy, since matches there fill up quick, who think the game will be good when they get out of the academy.
Next are EVE Tards, who just LURRRVEEE CCP's vision (10-15%)
After that are Fanboys
I haven't even counted the people who just left the academy and haven't quit yet.
Yeah. Good fun, with PLENTY of people here who enjoy it. Mind you, 4500 isn't a good number for an "AAA F2P FPS" |
