The Amarr Logistics suit - already the most balanced suit in the game - will be getting a dose of added utility. If fixes for scouts are not quickly incoming, might have to spec into this awesomeness |

I hate the Amarr from a RP standpoint, but I'm legitimately happy for the suit's users. |

I can think of at least one you'll likely be seeing out there once 1.3 is live. If the suit had been configured this way from the start, I probably would have went with Amarr logi over my Minnie logi when I spent those SP ... last week
Ah, well. I like my Minnie, but for the way I like to play, this suit looks like a pretty perfect fit now. Definitely going to save up some SP so I can check this out before I go ADV on my M logi. |

I play one! Thankfully the suit is getting some much needed love. I think one of the suit's biggest drawbacks was that as is currently it is a garbage suit at anything below proto level, which is really daunting when first skilling into a suit (for me at least) but with the respec I was able to go straight into proto suits. The Amarr is (as the OP stated) probably the most "balanced" suit. Its not uber in anyway but is pretty damn good in many ways with its slot layout and inclusion of a sidearm really allowing one to be sort of the jack-of-all-trades of the Dust battlefield. Just be prepared to be slow |

I made a questionable decision a while back and specced all the way into amarr logi V, and love the heck out of this suit.
Admittedly, I only have it because I thought the bonus was to REMOTE repair amount, and not onboard reps, but eh, whatever. I was pleasantly surprised to find room for a sidearm and was very happy with it until I looked more in depth and compared it to other suits in class.
Most other race logistics seem far better.
This will bring it more into line, and make me a very happy logistics player. Now if they'd just give me a lowslot item that lets me equip another piece of equipment... |

It's true, they're rare and I know I like to complain a lot as a scout, but I can't lie. Any time I see an Amarr Logi of any level in a match, my eyes widen and my shotgun tingles with excitement because I know I'm going to get that kill provided nobody interferes. I don't know what it is - it's not their speed because heavies are slower and still mow me down no problem. I think its maybe that, in general people who play Amarr logistics actually intend to play the LOGI ROLE and are thus a tad more vulnerable than cal/gal logis |

I can't tell you how many times I have overheated the SR with a militia suit trying to get that last kill shot. That's all addressed in the link. The advantages the assault gets is nothing in comparison to it's logi counterpart. |

Strafe speed is a pretty big advantage in this game, just a .2 higher speed made the type-II caldari assault OP last build. I would buff the Amarr assault suit, but because it's imbalanced when compared to the other assault suits, not the logis suits, Amarr assault sucks ducks. |

Literally just spent my SP on an Amarr logistics suit yesterday, only up to STD but the suit feels pretty nice. Except when it get ripped to shreads by duvolles.
It's okay though, I'll just rip their face off with my Boundless HMG |

It was also a time at which there were no racial assault variations and the 'armor vs. shield' debate was minimal. Hell heavies had a Type II shield-based suit that moved quicker and everyone loved it too. No PC and the community SP pool was smaller. HMGs blasted anything that smelled of armor at long ranges and the key to pub stomping was being fast because sharpshooter V you could just AR melt people across the map as you moved between spawn points and kill the guy you just killed at the LAST spawn point as he spawned in at the next one. The Type II also had higher CPU so you could fit more tank as well as an injector and nanohive. Ahhh the good ole days. |
