Not all are "A" team, but I do see a couple up there. It wasn't training by any means and it took place months before anyone started gearing up for PC. We were content to keep this victory to ourselves, but like I said, people just sweep this under the carpet and carry on with the KEQ/ROFL=trash BS.
Gunner-Logi,
Miku-Heavy
Venom-Support AR
onTilt- AR slayer
Re-flex-definitely didnt play this so try again cause he hadnt played in months when we had the match
Cinder-Scout smg harrasser
Doc Kok-Heavy
Notice a pattern with the team comp. I remember the match very well cause i saw all the AAR like i said it was a mainly PHI and PFB ringer match remember reading try harders tank and Nighteagles or turtlez lazer melting from the top of bravo in the nest. So with essentially an entire team of support players These players are support roleplayers (do a damn good job in their roles) with only 1 primary slayer this very much was a match designed to get our players in and learn their roles.
None of our A team slayers played in FW from Jan-April most didnt even play dust other to hit cap and then stopped for the week. Its also those exact matches that helped everyone figure out what worked and what didnt in terms of roles and specs and the tweaks were made for uprising. We still have a build that nobody has dupicated that has pulled out clutch victories and we know noone has replicated either cause they dont realize its true potential or simply havent figured it out yet.
And KEQ is trash, if the logic is HS is not good cause of its losses to TP then what does that make KEQ by comparison. We've sent plenty of ringers to aid you trust us we know how bad you play as a group of 16. Its not a complete lack of skill as it is complete absence of battle planning and pre-battle organization, beyond this is also an absence of a sense of urgency on the battlefield and a literal conveyor belt of farmed deaths as you myopically try to press a third objective over and over and over wasting time and clones.
Let me keep it simple for you so you understand all you have to do in PC.
CAP 4 Objectives off the start if you can help it. And then only retain 3, ideally the 3 closest in distance or the ones with the clearest sight lines to create force multipliers from other objectives.
Beyond this when not having 3 objectives the simple thing is to hold 2 tight if at all possible by creating a swing if your 2 are far apart swing objectives by taking a 3rd and conceding 1 if the 3 are too far apart. The primary way to take a 3rd objective is to stretch the opposing team over thier perimeter by swinging them to one side and then taking a small strike team to hit the other, this wont work on the first instance but what happens is a literal pendulum swinging from one end to the other, in others words you are breaking down a zone defense.
Few corps maintain a strict man defense(fixed objective) defense because if a team falls then usually the objective does too. So the fact that people continue to attack the exact same objective over and over and over by trying to zerg it is exactly why they fail, even if they prevail in taking the objective they often waste too much time to overcome the deficit forcing the need to capture a 4th objective or they lose another objective because they left themselves exposed.
Its also one of the reasons our members have advocated for a neutral position on hacked objectives as those objectives when overtaken are still attacking against the favor of the team that just took them, while inconsequential in the early goings it essentially creates an artificial timer in the game which allows a leading to team to simply hold camp and run out that clock.
Anyhoo glad I could set the record straight and educate you a bit on how to improve your strategies because i assure you they are needed, use them and you will have better results.
