There is a big IF in that supposition but okay. NF has already lost before, we've lost to PFB, lost to TP and i think we had one other loss as well. Generally speaking we tend to come back harder and stronger cause we adapt to whatever the root cause for the loss was rather then rage QQ over it.

Right, you (IE) also lost once to us (KEQ) back during 8v8. My point wasn't that you couldn't take losses here and there, it was that if you started to observe a W/L ratio like Hellstorm did in it's final days I would suspect their would be plenty of internal friction and shortly thereafter an implosion.

Im sorry i dont recall a loss to KEQ, i do remember one to PFB and PHI ringers but KEQ, nope sorry that didnt actually happen, love how everyone is so eager to change the history books now that we are gone and have done our job in showing everyone why Dust was a waste of everyones time. |

To your point, meh wouldn't happen we dont failcascacade mainly because A team was just that strong, and add to that there were a steady supply of role players to adjust battle plans dependent on the opponent in the end IMPS knew how to breed a competitive group that adapts to everything thrown at it. While we hated so many of the nerfs this game brought we adapted to each one, even in our losses we were adapting to the battlefield in real time thats why each one of them were literal nail biters where most other corps the loss would have come sooner and in some instances it allowed us to pull out wins. Thats the mark of great players and great chemistry.
I remember hearing of IE loseing to KEQ in training matches or somthing, around the team we beat IE couple times in little 8v8 practice stuff. Anyways dont think anyone denies that IMPs had the best 8-16 but after that... yea... |

Haha yup cause that was just a blowout on the stream with only what 3-4 of our A team playing. Its quite pathetic you still trying to seek relevancy through the rest of TP, we've given them their props it was a tight match but by no means our best. So you might want to cut down on the hyperbole cause anyone with a brain knows that mach with even the team we fielded could have gone the other way.
Meanwhile how many IMPS you see here on these forums? I count myself, sota and about 3-6 others who mainly come here for the lulz that come from your teenage angst, you and legend should start a morning show it would be quite entertaining to watch actually. Meanwhile the rest of NF does its thing on skype and forums waiting for the next game to drop and you know actual RL stuff.

If you really think about it EoN killed NF as well because after that loss you guys started crying and quit the game than IE in fear of being in such a pathetic alliance went over to Hellstorm and got that ass whoopin again and now where are they? Haha everyone knew we were leaving PC dumbass thats why TP wanted in on the contract for STB, admittedly it was good move cause we took in a casual group expecting a less than stellar STB team. Moreover everyone knows the IE move was made because of pure lack of interest in the game, every move we;ve made since leaving has been to find an accomodation for the remaining players who still have an interest in dust of which there is very few. So it was simple either let them go find new homes in other corps or find them people to play with no really a difficult concept. I wouldnt expect a bandwagonner like you to understand but we do what we can for people for whatever reason or another want to still play the game rather then telling them to **** off and get off the game cause the old gaurd left.
Meanwhile IMPS set out and did what it wanted to in PC and got bored of it. Unlike other corps we mainitained our small footprint and flipped land with ease we played out the fights we wanted to and ultimately decided to call it a day when everytime we sought to face a new target meant holding in delay while waiting on timers or establishing beachheads with district clones, we also in 2 weeks profitted over 5B ISK while holding less than 6-8 districts at any given time yea. In the end the game was stale boring and nothing was changing. It had only gotten worse, and see this is the key component i wouldnt expect your scrubby self to understand, E-rep is nice and all but GAMEPLAY> everything else that includes maintaining or reestablishing reputation.
If this game ever becomes "fun" and "enjoyable" and weapons ranges and damage profiles make sense, if the game cesases to be a job everytime you want a competitive fight if the game actually has any sort of decent aiming and recoil over **** RBS then it would be something worth coming back to. But in the end we know CCP wont ever get it there.
Meanwhile i see how many posts a day from you chest thumping and yet you are a nobody to me. I'll give TP props all day and have done so quite often, you on the other hand are a bandwagon scrub whose only purpose is to entertain me,

Gunner-Logi,
Miku-Heavy Venom-Support AR onTilt- AR slayer Re-flex-definitely didnt play this so try again cause he hadnt played in months when we had the match Cinder-Scout smg harrasser Doc Kok-Heavy
Notice a pattern with the team comp. I remember the match very well cause i saw all the AAR like i said it was a mainly PHI and PFB ringer match remember try harders tank and Nighteagles or turtlez lazer melting from the top of bravo in the nest. So with essentially an entire team of support players with only 1 primary slayer this very much was a match designed to get our players in and learn their roles.
None of our A team slayers played in FW from Jan-April most didnt even play dust other to hit cap and then stopped for the week. Its also those exact matches that helped everyone figure out what worked and what didnt in terms of roles and specs and the tweaks were made for uprising. We still have a build that nobody has dupicated that has pulled out clutch victories and we know noone has replicated either cause they dont realize its true potential or simply havent figured it out yet.
And KEQ is trash, if the logic is HS is not good cause of its losses to TP then what does that make KEQ by comparison. We've sent plenty of ringers to aid you trust us we know how bad you play as a group of 16. Its not a complete lack of skill as it is complete absence of battle planning and pre-battle organization, beyond this is also an absence of a sense of urgency on the battlefield and a literal conveyor belt of farmed deaths as you myopically try to press a third objective over and over and over wasting time and clones.
Let me keep it simple for you so you understand all you have to do in PC.
CAP 4 Objectives off the start if you can help it. And then only retain 3, ideally the 3 closest in distance or the ones with the clearest sight lines to create force multipliers from other objectives.
Beyond this when not having 3 objectives the simple thing is to hold 2 tight if at all possible by creating a swing if your 2 are far apart swing objectives by taking a 3rd and conceding 1 if the 3 are too far apart. The primary way to take a 3rd objective is to stretch the opposing team over thier perimeter by swinging them to one side and then taking a small strike team to hit the other, this wont work on the first instance but what happens is a literal pendulum swinging from one end to the other, in others words you are breaking down a zone defense.
Few corps maintain a strict man defense(fixed objective) defense because if a team falls then usually the objective does too. So the fact that people continue to attack the exact same objective over and over and over by trying to zerg it is exactly why they fail, even if they prevail in taking the objective they often waste too much time to overcome the deficit forcing the need to capture a 4th objective or they lose another objective because they left themselves exposed.
Its also one of the reasons our members have advocated for a neutral position on hacked objectives as those objectives when overtaken are still attacking against the favor of the team that just took them, while inconsequential in the early goings it essentially creates an artificial timer in the game which allows a leading to team to simply hold camp and run out that clock.
Anyhoo glad I could set the record straight and educate you a bit on how to improve your strategies because i assure you they are needed, use them and you will have better results. |

It wasn't training by any means and it took place months before anyone started gearing up for PC. We were content to keep this victory to ourselves, but like I said, people just sweep this under the carpet and carry on with the KEQ/ROFL=trash BS. Gunner-Logi, Miku-Heavy Venom-Support AR onTilt- AR slayer Re-flex-definitely didnt play this so try again cause he hadnt played in months when we had the match Cinder-Scout smg harrasser Doc Kok-Heavy Notice a pattern with the team comp. I remember the match very well cause i saw all the AAR like i said it was a mainly PHI and PFB ringer match remember reading try harders tank and Nighteagles or turtlez lazer melting from the top of bravo in the nest. So with essentially an entire team of support players These players are support roleplayers (do a damn good job in their roles) with only 1 primary slayer this very much was a match designed to get our players in and learn their roles. I just scanned beyond the claim that we had PFBHz and PHI ringers because I assume the rest is equally as foolish and doesn't warrant close attention. You "remember the match very well" because you "saw all the AAR[sic]" yet you completely whiff on squad comp. Sounds like your teammates either lied to you by rewriting the match to save face, or you're talking out of your ass. I've got the picture, would you like me to post it? No PHI, one ringer from PFBHz, and he wasn't the highest scorer on our team. Charlie Barkin was the one melting people with an HMG above B and C, while Turtlez defended A. Nice try at the rewrite though, it certainly enhances the irony of your earlier sarcastic statement.
Noone ever said Hellstorm was ****. They were, and still are one of the best corps in the game. I think this is a betrayal of what you feel about them rather than something my corp said.
The greatest trick IE ever pulled was to convince Soze that he was relevant just because he sported the tag. |
