Hey guys.
I'm sure many of the players here have noticed some Heavy Users running Prototype Level Gear and using the Baloch to simply charge and/or run over players whilst using the car as a second layer of protection to then get out and use their Proto. Gear to finish the job. Even worse you have the players that solely use the Baloch to run people over.
I personally feel that LAV's as their current form should be removed from the game entirely, as the hit and run is becoming more and more common and it's ruining the game.
Now although some may argue that both tactics are valid forms of play. I'd like to see the users at least suffer some expense of ISK. I feel that although it won't prevent such tactics it will be a deterrent of sorts.
So basically my request/suggestion is for the Baloch's Blue-Print to be removed once you reach a certain amount of War Points. |

First off heavies are slow and what you saw was a true murder taxi. I do the same tactics now and then. I am slow so I need another way around the board. I do agree the free LAV should be removed, this would force others to skill into the LAV. So leave us heavies alone we have it hard enough as it is. Also AV's work wonders try them and see if this fixes your problem. |

Trust me I use AV's but when you have a whole team of Murder Taxi's it's pointless.
I'd just find it all more balanced/satisfying knowing that if I destroy their car it is a financial loss for them. So, I'd like to see the Baloch BPO removed after a certain amount of WP, but have it available cheap in the Marketplace. |

So basically my request/suggestion is for the Baloch's Blue-Print to be removed once you reach a certain amount of War Points. I agree, seen it happen plenty of times. And it's silly that one almost get two shields (and a pretty deadly weapon) one can zip around on the map in.
I made a suggestion about implementing a time delay for when people getting into the driver seat and they can start operating it, nothing big. But it would make people who zip in and out of LAVs a bit more vulnerable during that time. Unsurprising, they wheely (AKA murder taxi) community didn't much care for that.
But removing the LAV altogether seems a bit excessive. IMHO; they need to make it so you need to have a decent speed to kill infantry with a LAV, so you canGÇÖt just nudge people to death and the time delay to stop people using it as second armour. |

I don't wish to see them removed entirely, as the community would hate them to be gone. But the Baloch Blue-Print needs to go.
As for the Speed Requirement for a lethal blow. I've suggestion the following in the past:
- Lethal Speed is when the Wind Animation (Blue Aurora) takes effect. - Rather than award a vehicle kill which can be 50+ Pts, award Road-Kill for 25+ Pts.
Now although the second one seems less required, the first is must. |

Free LAV's die to basic proximity explosives. Just have a fit with them on it. I get free kills all the time. The true problem are the logi LAV's and i think a fix would just make LAV's take damage equivalent to their speed times 1/6 the hp of the victim. Example: 600 hp victim deals 100 damage times lets say 50 meters per second for a total of 5000 damage. Example 2: scout with 200 hp hit at 50 m/s deals 1,666 damage. |

Earlier I thought about the idea of simply not counting vehicle hits as actual kills. The clone count would not lower and the WP would not be rewarded. KDR would not be changed, etc. It'd simply remove that player until he respawns (And even then, give the respawn time a small decrease. Maybe 5-7 seconds).
There'd be absolutely no reason to murder taxi then. No WP for your squad, no kills, no advantage. It'd simply take a player off the field. |

This is a nonissue. Is it annoying? Yes. Is it game breaking? No.
So we get rid of free LAVs for speeders, what's stopping them from using speeders? Or get rid of free vehicles all together? If its so efficient, what stops them from buying cheep LAVs and using them? It just doesn't solve the problem and therefore isn't worth trying to fix.
The best counter is teamwork and field awareness. Roll with 2-3 others and watch each others back. No heavy can match +3 deceintly fitted and skilled assaults. |

Easy to kill LAVs are not ruining the game. If someone is running around in a proto suit in a starter LAV I would probably laugh as they get instapopped in it by some good AV gear. If people want to run completely isk free fits for their vehicles and suits, then that's cool because it's still easy to kill. If they change vehicle impact kills so they don't count at all, I think that would ruin the game. People talking about removing blueprint LAVs entirely should specify that they mean starter LAVs, since I think some people might be a little bit upset if they lose the blueprints they paid for or got with their ps3 (especially if they got that ps3 because it included the dust items). Also, why are we only talking about the baloch and not the onikuma starter LAV? Maybe the baloch is a little bit stronger, but underneath the name it's still a militia vehicle. Maybe we should be asking for lesser than militia starter vehicles instead of asking for them to be removed entirely. |

Anything that doesn't require your own two feet should be infinitely more expensive than it is now.

How would it? Unless you think that the fact that you get a +50 for all vehicle kills is a large fraction of the game? The only reason people are doing it in the first place it to raise KDR and get fast OBs, and MAYBE win the game easily.
Not all Taxi's are so easy to kill. If you see a Proto-Heavy in one of those precious C-Logi LAVs, who will save you when his car tanks your AV Nades and then HE tanks your AR?
I'd just like to know HOW it would ruin the game, and then I'll gladly bugger off from that particular sentence. |
