I bought 20 of the first AUR ones just to mess around and see if I liked it... it was horrible. I use controller so trying to have good accuracy was frustrating at least. If anybody gets consistent direct impact please tell me because it sounds like so much fun... keep in mind this isn't a QQing thread, but I do believe it needs some sort of nerf.

Dont expect to solo tanks with it but it is good for ohking infantry from a raised position. If you are going to use it to tackle tanks try to get someone with a swarm to help you and coordinate your attack. Try to get behinh the tank and cover its lines of retreat before you engage and if possible have a logi lav to hand just incase you have to chase it down. As I said make sure you have anotger av soecialist with you and possibly a logi or maby an assault to defend you from the other infantry. A three man tank hunting llav squad will decimate most tanks.

I had 2 std plasma operatives strip4500 shields of my gunlogi in 3 hits between them so it is good when used in coordination with another av specialist. The only reason it seems up is because you cant solo good tanks with the proto one . The reason most people use proto av is because they want a win button against our STD vehicles simply because it takes coordination if with other avers to take down std tanks with std or adv av be prepaird for allot of tears when it takes 3 or more proto avers to take down proto tanks when they get hear.

pierce Hawkeye 843 Boot Camp 32	Posted - 2013.07.17 21:17:00 - [14] - Quote honestly its an amazing weapon coupled with the smg and flux nades it's a short to mid, mid range weapon a direct hit is generally an insta kill plus its not bad against vehicles i've taken down multiple lavs a tank and just using against infantry i went 10/1 and iff you want more war points add on a uplink i got around 2145 on round, i agree it starts off a little disapointing but iff you get good with it its deadly

If more avers had the same and didnt expect their proto av to be an instant win button then we would have had the valance between av and vehicels that is so desperately needed. Av is supposed to be group effort and when we get proto HAVs you will see all the proto tears being shed because their win buttons have to work together.
