was mostly considering the proto versions, if the devs intend to nerf them I assume the less the proto versions will become a lot weaker.
at least that was my train of thought.
IMO their shouldn't be anything less then a proto contact grenade, just like their is nothing less then a proto charge rifle.
like with the charge rifle the cpu and pg of these grenades should be quite high somewhere in the field of 64 cpu and 12 pg. |

Does the blog detail why CCP wants to keep them so badly? Numerous threads, a petition, a mutual treaty to refrain from their use in PC, numerous CSM members stating they dont belong in the game.. I mean, the evidence is there, this isnt something new, the community has wanted these removed for a while now but you still are pretty hellbent on keeping them.. |

seriously u want AUR nades I can see that.. make a proto variant of nades for AUR available at lower levels. contact nades require less than zero talent and everyone is in agreement they should just be removed.
If memory serves.. didn't they get removed before for the same reason???

they already said an estimate on when 1.3 will be out and that they will be doing regular 1 month updates.
if they are doing a dev blog on the changes then expect it for 1.3 or 1.4 at the latest.
until they prove that they can't keep to this 1 month update plan, then I will stick to this being the case atm. |

They were taken out sometime in the closed beta cuz people complained about them. I guess they thought it was a good idea to bring them back.
Way to listen to the community! You gotta wonder if CCP actually listens... or just completely ignore certain topics due to them making money off it.

I wish people would stop saying 'everybody', since when does one person speak for the entire community, you don't! i for one like them. sure they require no skill, and if they are beeing spammed it sucks, but if your in a tight spot they come in handy. especially if your beeing ganged by multiple targets. So if you don't like them tough luck, suck it up and don't buy them. i'm sure there are plenty of other weapons i don't like and you don't see me crying about it every 5 minutes. The best way to do it is put fused on level 2/3 and cavity proto. and as for there range sure 6 m is alott, best to make fused less and cavity more. |

Contact nades have no place in a FPS game. THEY NEED TO BE REMOVED OUT OF THE GAME, CCP. ASAP.
If you dont want to removed them you got to modify them as a fast explosive nade. Instead of 5 seconds that it takes regular nades to explode, these ones should explode at 4 seconds.
I refused to use the stock I got from merc packs just becasuse I don't think they have place in a competitive FPS game, oops, dust 514 is not a competitive FPS.
So, good job CCP with that 50% discount on M2 cavity, you are killing the game a little more with this.
