League of Infamy 3405	Posted - 2013.07.15 21:02:00 - [1] - Quote I played 12 games from a brand new character 847,980 total sp 11,081 total war points. 156 kills 18 deaths I have a basic heavy suit with an advanced HMG Level 2 core shield and armor. Nothing else. 1st game out of academy Full squad of competitive team all proto. Wow do I feel sorry for the noobs coming into this game. We need to help the new kids by extending the time in the academy triple the war points or whatever the conditions are. Give them a fighting chance when they come out.

Yeah, 2.3mil was enough to get my alt to an ADV Logi suit, and ADV weapon with enough left to throw into core skills. 2mil is also enough to get a decent HAV too if thats what they decide they want to do.

Basic Academy > Advanced Academy > Instant Battle Basic is MIL/STD only, Advanced is MIL/STD/ADV and once you hit Instant anything goes.

Staying in the Academy longer with no increase seems to be the best for both sides.

Hell, even I don't want to deal with stacked squads of proto, and I have mostly proto gear (it makes a night and day difference if there is stacking).

I didnGÇÖt spend a single isk or skill points, right now I have ~2.7 mil isk and ~580k SP. Mainly did hacks, rezzing people and killing vehicles with turrets. It was a BIG mistake!!! Since I was doing good things towards team play and victory I scored 800-1300 WP each battle. I have noidea what should I do now, since I can`t kill anyone, got slaughtered by older players with a single shot. Should i start new character and do AFK to leech SP/isk???!!!
