Does anyone else use forgeguns in close-medium range combat? i use all militia gear for it and the forge gun is truly a beast and the fact it can kill vehicles is a plus too |

I have a heavy toon that uses the FG exclusively. I don't like getting tangled up with infantry fighting, but sometimes the Ishukone SMG goes empty, then its forge time.
I like the whole 1.9 seconds till they die aspect of it. Also, the bunny hopping they go through to try and avoid it is hilarious. |

If it comes to that then sure, if the only feasible way I can continue overwatch on an advance is to run in with them I'll do it.
There's also the fact my Scrambler Pistol can only reload 2 and a bit times 'til I'm out of batteries. Great weapon, not enough duracells. |

im backwards i use the fg until its ammo runs out then switch to my submachine gun, i feel the militia forge gun fit is the best militia fit |

Yeah it is beast. I like having the option to one shot infantry. Only thing you have to remember is, if you miss, you're ******. |

I've already told all my buddies... some of the most fun I've had in this game was getting Forge Gun operation up to level IV and throwing an assault forge gun onto a flippin' Dren heavy suit. Besides the fact that it literally costs 1/10 what a proto cal logi suit runs me, just hold down the trigger and time your shots as you dodge and weave enemy fire... The best 10 seconds of gameplay evar. it's like a Goddamn rhinoceros ballerina that blasts people 30m into the air every 2.5sec. Love it. |
