Demel steps outside of the Hex club and eyes the door, taking pictures and making quick calculations with his neocom of the doorway. He spins on his heals and walks towards his office with a smile, walking into his office and closing the door. |

Denak notices Demel exiting the Second Hex Club, tilting his head briefly before he went back to his tours around the facility, before he stopped in front of Aria's place again. He thought for a while about visiting the place, but he had already had enough drinks and food for the morning, so instead he opted to just sit in front of the establishment on a convenient bench, contemplating things to himself. |

Maximia slowly walks outside of the restaurant, eying the surrounding area with a worried and anxious expression, suppressed under a veil of a calm and collected face. She walks at a swift pace through the hallway towards Demel's office, a small take out box in a bag slightly bouncing in her hand. As she maneuvers the bustling hallways, her arm hits Denak's shoulder by accident, dropping the box of food, spilling its contents on the floor, but not on Denak.
Maximia takes a step back from Denak and worryingly blinks as she looks down at him, being 7'6".
"Argh, merde," She curses in a Minmatar dialect, "Did anything get on you?"
She searches over Denak's pants without his approval, perhaps being a bit touchy but not in any inappropriate places. |

As soon as the much taller, and larger Matari woman collided with him and spilled the contents of the bag all over the place, he nearly lost balance and fell over. Thanks to a bench nearby he didn't though, leaving him muttering curses.
"Jaakadal arbha.." he mutters as he was checking if his suit was damaged, stopping when his pants were suddenly handled by the Matari woman, blinking. Upon eyeing her over, she was over a foot taller than him. If he was in his dropsuit he'd match her height, but in his 6'4" leisure clone he was significantly smaller.
"My, pants are fine. Are you okay?" He asks, feeling slightly weird with her hands being all over his pants, at least they weren't touching anything inappropriate. |

"Well not now that I lost my take-out." She calmly whines and chucks the box in a nearby trashcan, standing back up and looking at Denak.
"Sorry about that-"
She notices the blood on his clothes and her eyes open wide with a shocked expression. Blood was a sight for the battlefield, not for down-time. She eyes Denak quickly, taking an inventory of his condition.
"I'm guessing that's not yours" She says in a mutter to Denak, pointing at the stained blood on his clothes. |

"Hmmm," She stares at the sign a little more before looking at Denak, "I guess I do...I never got your name though."
She extends her hand outward, slightly tanned peach skin with an iron grip coiling underneath, but a soft handshake none the less. |

He simply replies, bowing his head again. |

As Kador exits out into the hallways with Satja trailing at his shoulder, he notices the Gallentean exit the Emmisary. He slows his pace, feeling oddly claustrophobic as the scarred man comes to stand at his other shoulder, and as Satja, presses closer against his arm.
She was nervous he could tell. Though she tried to hide it she was paler than usual, perhaps she was becoming afraid of immortals, though to him that seemed unlikely, she had spent her entire life around his kind. Perhaps it was the scars, or the mans implacable youth.
Either way this did not surprise or phase the Templar. He had years on the boy-clone.
"If you follow me we shall reach the Library in about five minutes, the Cathedral is only a couple of doors down, it is all automated though, the Library not the Cathedral. You might even find Templar Twelve there."
He paused, clearing his throat, then whispered a few words to Satja, who brightened, nodded several times, then darted off down the corridor back towards the Emmisary.
" It seems I forgot my Neocom...bad business to lose that you know. In anycase what can I do to sate your curiousity Mr....?" |

The Templar scratched his head, his grasp of the histories was adequate, but not hugely deep. He took a deep breath and began to talk.
"Much of what I know stems from very old transcripts that I read as a boy on Mehkios. Suffice to say a very long time ago, some thousand years ago our people wandered the deserts of Old Athra as a nomadic peoples, but we were not the only people to reside on Athra. The Udorians were a powerful people who drove us from the mainlands to an Island we named Amarr. Here the beginnings of our formal faith could be seen, though we had always been a spiritual people. At some point in our histories we began to fight once again with the Udorians, this time defeating them, in seeing them down fallen we began what you might call the first Reclaiming of Humanity, though to your kind you might call it the origins of Slavery."
He spat out that word as if it was inelegant.
"From there we claimed dominance over our planet, subjugating the peoples of it, and inducting them slowly into the the burgeoning empire. It was only a matter of time we reached the stars and set out to new planets, conquering new peoples, and teaching them the word of God. It was our belief that we were under the divine auspices of God Himself to Reclaim the lost peoples and planets in the name of Mankind, and unify the peoples of New Eden. First the Khanid, then the Ni Kunni, and half a dozen peoples fell to and were absorbed by the Empire. In more recent histories our people came into contact with the Minmatar....and such it....text book history."
He stumbled at the end.
" I do not explain it well with my word. Perhaps when we reach the libraries you may read of our histories." ((Pending a lore check, will update with more concrete and important info)) |

The Templar shrugs, not sure really how to answer the question.
"I suppose, from my perspective, and no doubt you will find other views amongst my kind, as certain as we are all God's children, I see them as our lost people in revolt. They are like children, so new to the galaxy, so angry and bitter at what they saw as slavery, but what we sought to do as their spiritual enlightenment."
He stopped for a moment, glanced back towards the halls leading to the Emmisary, he had to cause to suspect Satja had even returned there yet, though he was beginning to be concerned at her absence.
Calm down you fool, he berated himself internally, its only been a few minutes, the Summit is safe.
"As for the Caldari I greatly respect them, I do pity their lack of spirituality, though I find it admirable that the Achura hold true to their ways, the Raata, Way of the Winds as well are codes I can understand."

"Guilt? Perhaps I do, though the say with the slaves is not my own. I must admit I do not think myself strong enough to be charged with the responsibility to the rehabilitation of their souls, that is damning upon he who is a Holder, and though he does in sacred duty, I do not suppose it is an easy one. I believe we can achieve a lasting peace with the Matari through non combative means, but all the same, becoming closer to God is not easy, some things must be endured."
At the mention of Satja he bristled, but instead busied himself with straightening the folds in his doublet.
"As for my servant, it once again is not my choice to make, though I doubt she would let me free her any way. She has this notion in her head that she must somehow better serve the Empire. She mentioned once that she wanted to fight.... but I quickly dispelled that notion. Perhaps if I tried to free her she would think me pitying her, which neither serves my purpose nor hers. For now we are bound to one another, which to tell truth is something that makes me happy." |

"I suppose, from my perspective, and no doubt you will find other views amongst my kind, as certain as we are all God's children, I see them as our lost people in revolt. They are like children, so new to the galaxy, so angry and bitter at what they saw as slavery, but what we sought to do as their spiritual enlightenment." He stopped for a moment, glanced back towards the halls leading to the Emmisary, he had to cause to suspect Satja had even returned there yet, though he was beginning to be concerned at her absence. Calm down you fool, he berated himself internally, its only been a few minutes, the Summit is safe."As for the Caldari I greatly respect them, I do pity their lack of spirituality, though I find it admirable that the Achura hold true to their ways, the Raata, Way of the Winds as well are codes I can understand." As the pair reached a four way junction Kador indicated they were taking the left hand corridor. " And you are right. We do not keep our people in chains. That is not our way. We would take care of them like a parent cares for a child, they too are the chosen children of God, they just do not know it yet. Something we do to maintain control we do out of necessity, not malice or cruelty.... Satja is a servant to me, but also a friend." *feeling confused at both the amarrians last statements* "you feel no guilt when you see them in pain? if she is a friend, why not free her.. make her a free citizen?" "Guilt? Perhaps I do, though the say with the slaves is not my own. I must admit I do not think myself strong enough to be charged with the responsibility to the rehabilitation of their souls, that is damning upon he who is a Holder, and though he does in sacred duty, I do not suppose it is an easy one. I believe we can achieve a lasting peace with the Matari through non combatiue means, but all the same, becoming closer to God is not easy, something's must be endured." At the mention of Satja he bristled, but instead busied himself with straightening the folds in his doublet. For now we are bound to one another, which to tell truth is something that makes me happy."
*in a serious tone, perhaps remembering all the battle he had fought to discover pitiful refugee camps of all 4 races throughout the cluster, and the memory of someone he knew long ago*
"i personally don't see a holder as strong or proud, if they were strong, they would show mercy and kindness in the presence of your lord.. i do believe that in order for one to be strong, one must show mercy when mercy calls to you.. from one immortal to another.. why do you not have her be implanted with the clone implant like we are? unless she fears life that much" |

"This is a mercy!" Kador hisses back that the Galletean, which more venom than he had intended. "It is not kindness to abandon them to damnation, truly it is not, some must be guided if they are to have their souls saved."
He takes a deep breath trying to relax, he can feel it in him, the fire that only the faith could bring, the absolute certainty of his cause, and the armour that kept doubt at bay.
"I am sorry... it is hard to explain, to make non believers understand. Especially Gallenteans. They, and I hope you will pardon me in saying, have these notions about what is right and wrong.... it is folly to assume humans can determine the correct path, it brings questions, some heretical in nature, which is why I put no stock in them." |

"i do apologize, i have to remember that i am not in the federation anymore.. on another note... you just said that Quote:it is folly to assume humans can determine the correct path , does that mean you cannot chose the correct path either, even though you serve your empire without question?"

"In a sense yes" he said with a thoughtful tone, he directed his attentions to the scars on the mans face. " I personally cannot, I would not dare assume to be so wise or all knowing as that. All I do is follow the words of our prophets, those blessed by God himself to bring his word to us beneath the heavens. That is what I believe is right and just." *the amarrians words intrigued Doniken*

"whats your story amarrian?" Kador chuckled at the question.
"Its too long to recount here in the hall of the Summit, and not really the place. Suffice it to say I have fought every kind of heathen scum this galaxy has to offer, and survived the Blood Raider assault on Iesa III, fought at the Siege of Raa, and hunted my traitorous brothers to their Nation infested covens." |

The Templar shook his head.
"It was a duty I had to my forebears. They disgraced us. I shall never forgive nor forget their treachery."
His eyes are dark at the mere mention of the renegades, a slight haunted expression on his face.
"What Arynn and the rest of them had become at the end there was......"
He shakes it off. Memories flying from him. With a broken smile he announces.
"We are here. This is the Praetoriate Library. Be mindful of your manners with Templar Twelve, his is a man of great deed and worthy of your respect. He shall sate your curiosity. Should you desire it after your lessons to visit the Cathedral, it is just down that hall."
Kador bowed low.
"I suppose I shall see you around the Summit, until next time" he said politely> "Perhaps then we shall swap tales."
