"It would be good to see this place alive with man different emmisaries brother Crusader" says Kador, approaching the other Templar from the direction of the PIE emissary. He looks more at ease now, the chaos of the last few minutes seems not to have disturbed him much.
'Perhaps more people will come who wish to be represented at the summit. I am especially looking forward to seeing "a Caldari embassy, it may give me incentive to visit some of my old comrades, but who knows if or when they may arrive?"
He passes by Crusader Yassavi, clapping him on the shoulder as he goes. The gesture is that of friendship and comradery.
"In any case it is back to the front with me, Lord willing when I return the summit may have filled up some....." He frowns. Seems to rethink his statement somewhat, a brief flash of sadness across his face.
"If it did the chapel would never be the same... Oh well God's message is meant to be spread." |

Denak Kalamari wrote:Satja Askarin wrote: "I'm okay" Staja's voice is quiet and shakey but genuinely startled as Denak leaves the Second Hex Club. She looks pale, but for the slight blush in her cheeks, perhaps embarrassment, or perhaps the heat of the moment.
She looks to Kador, he is standing there with a half concerned, half incensed.
"How is he Denak?" Asks the Templar. " is everything resolved?" there is a slight sharpness to the last part, looking at him you can see rage behind his normally calm features. "That's good, I'm glad you two are fine." he replies, as he continued escorting the injured man to the medical facility, gesturing Kador and Satja to follow him. "And he is fine, in great amount of pain because of the wound, but still conscious." he replies in a calm tone to Kador's sharp tone and furious look. He did not comment on Kador's behavior though, instead focusing on just carrying the injured man, calming him down occasionally.
Kador recovers enough to take stock of the situation, it was time the pair were leaving, and he would not place Satja in any more danger than he already had.
Idiot, he berated himself sharply, something like this was bound to happen since Immortals were such unstable creatures lacking empathy and concern for the mortals around them.
He glances down at Satja, noting her almost contradictory, and somewhat confused expression. Pale as she was, she looked healthy enough, a slight blush in her dark cheeks, no wounds.
Without though, and noticing Demel behind them, he grabs her hand dragging her after him.
"Denak where are we going? Is there a physician nearby we can see? If all else fails I saw Metsar on the station earlier this evening, I am sure he has the facilities to take care of the man if all else fails....and at some point I need to get her"
He nods to the mortal woman, now matching his pace, almost shyly clinging to his side.
'... back some place safe. Who the hell knows what could happened next here with these.... unstable clones about. I only have one chance with this...."
He cuts off abruptly thinking twice about bringing up her mortality again in the company of the two men.
Better they not know, he thought, I wouldn't want them using this against me. |

He cuts off abruptly thinking twice about bringing up her mortality again in the company of the two men. Denak was trying to move as fast as he could while dragging along a barely conscious man, each step resulting in a small puff from him, the security guard seemed quite heavy. "There's a medical facility just around the corner, they can treat him with the concussion and stab wound." he explains, he knew the facility quite well and most of the services it provided, since he was working as the security chief after all. As they cleared the corner in question and waded through the crowds of people minding their own businesses, the medical facility was seen at the end of the hallway. When Kador started talking about Satja and getting her someplace safe, he quickly caught up on what was going on. Satja was obviously not immortal, why would Kador be so protective and concerned over her health if she was immortal? He remained quiet about mentioning it though, instead continuing to make his way towards the medical facility. "My emissary could be used to keep Satja safe, or the PIE emissary as well. There's also the shuttlepad and cloning facilities if you want to leave the facility entirely." he suggests to the two as they reached the end of the hallway, medical staff already waiting for them. The staff quickly took hold of the wounded security guard, escorting him inside to start treating his injuries.
Again Kador nods at Denak's suggestions, they were sound and logical, he needed to calm down.
"Of course, the Emissary is the best place" he said calmly, belying the worry he felt. All he could think about were those solid doors, and that convenient shuttle port.
He turns to Satja.
"Stay close to me" he says. |

After the injured man was taken by the medical staff, he looked down his own outfit, his sleeves and hem had a large bloodstain from treating the wound. "So, to the PIE Emissary?" He asks, while trying to wipe off some of the blood from hos clothing. "Your place. It's closer" he replied gruffly. |

As Kador exits out into the hallways with Satja trailing at his shoulder, he notices the Gallentean exit the Emmisary. He slows his pace, feeling oddly claustrophobic as the scarred man comes to stand at his other shoulder, and as Satja, presses closer against his arm.
She was nervous he could tell. Though she tried to hide it she was paler than usual, perhaps she was becoming afraid of immortals, though to him that seemed unlikely, she had spent her entire life around his kind. Perhaps it was the scars, or the mans implacable youth.
Either way this did not surprise or phase the Templar. He had years on the boy-clone.
"If you follow me we shall reach the Library in about five minutes, the Cathedral is only a couple of doors down, it is all automated though, the Library not the Cathedral. You might even find Templar Twelve there."
He paused, clearing his throat, then whispered a few words to Satja, who brightened, nodded several times, then darted off down the corridor back towards the Emmisary.

I would like to know the history of the amarrian religion"
The Templar scratched his head, his grasp of the histories was adequate, but not hugely deep. He took a deep breath and began to talk.
"Much of what I know stems from very old transcripts that I read as a boy on Mehkios. Suffice to say a very long time ago, some thousand years ago our people wandered the deserts of Old Athra as a nomadic peoples, but we were not the only people to reside on Athra. The Udorians were a powerful people who drove us from the mainlands to an Island we named Amarr. Here the beginnings of our formal faith could be seen, though we had always been a spiritual people. At some point in our histories we began to fight once again with the Udorians, this time defeating them, in seeing them down fallen we began what you might call the first Reclaiming of Humanity, though to your kind you might call it the origins of Slavery."
He spat out that word as if it was inelegant.
"From there we claimed dominance over our planet, subjugating the peoples of it, and inducting them slowly into the the burgeoning empire. It was only a matter of time we reached the stars and set out to new planets, conquering new peoples, and teaching them the word of God. It was our belief that we were under the divine auspices of God Himself to Reclaim the lost peoples and planets in the name of Mankind, and unify the peoples of New Eden. First the Khanid, then the Ni Kunni, and half a dozen peoples fell to and were absorbed by the Empire. In more recent histories our people came into contact with the Minmatar....and such it....text book history."
He stumbled at the end.
" I do not explain it well with my word. Perhaps when we reach the libraries you may read of our histories." ((Pending a lore check, will update with more concrete and important info)) |

The Templar shrugs, not sure really how to answer the question.
"I suppose, from my perspective, and no doubt you will find other views amongst my kind, as certain as we are all God's children, I see them as our lost people in revolt. They are like children, so new to the galaxy, so angry and bitter at what they saw as slavery, but what we sought to do as their spiritual enlightenment."
He stopped for a moment, glanced back towards the halls leading to the Emmisary, he had to cause to suspect Satja had even returned there yet, though he was beginning to be concerned at her absence.
Calm down you fool, he berated himself internally, its only been a few minutes, the Summit is safe.
"As for the Caldari I greatly respect them, I do pity their lack of spirituality, though I find it admirable that the Achura hold true to their ways, the Raata, Way of the Winds as well are codes I can understand."
As the pair reached a four way junction Kador indicated they were taking the left hand corridor.
" And you are right. We do not keep our people in chains. That is not our way. We would take care of them like a parent cares for a child, they too are the chosen children of God, they just do not know it yet. "Guilt? Perhaps I do, though the say with the slaves is not my own. I must admit I do not think myself strong enough to be charged with the responsibility to the rehabilitation of their souls, that is damning upon he who is a Holder, and though he does in sacred duty, I do not suppose it is an easy one. I believe we can achieve a lasting peace with the Matari through non combative means, but all the same, becoming closer to God is not easy, some things must be endured."
At the mention of Satja he bristled, but instead busied himself with straightening the folds in his doublet.
"As for my servant, it once again is not my choice to make, though I doubt she would let me free her any way. She has this notion in her head that she must somehow better serve the Empire. She mentioned once that she wanted to fight.... but I quickly dispelled that notion. Perhaps if I tried to free her she would think me pitying her, which neither serves my purpose nor hers. For now we are bound to one another, which to tell truth is something that makes me happy." |

His eyes are dark at the mere mention of the renegades, a slight haunted expression on his face.
"What Arynn and the rest of them had become at the end there was......"
He shakes it off. Memories flying from him. With a broken smile he announces.
"We are here. This is the Praetoriate Library. Be mindful of your manners with Templar Twelve, his is a man of great deed and worthy of your respect. He shall sate your curiosity. Should you desire it after your lessons to visit the Cathedral, it is just down that hall."

Many hours have I spent in the chapels repenting for all the lives I have taken to defend what our faith. That is also a shared perspective among the Gallente, or at least within their doctrine." Satja dashed down the corridor, cradled under her arm is the Neocom unit Kador has asked her for. She was glad he had relieved her of having to be in the presence of the Gallentean. Though she was sure he was not a bad person, she never had trusted immortals she did not know. As she rounded the corner her heart sank as she saw Gallentean still with he master, though a second later her heart fluttered as she noted Aero. There was something about him that always did that, though she couldn't be sure exactly what. She approached the trio swiftly. As she did she heard her master speak, he had n. "Killing is a sin.....and never one I could truly live with. It is only through the Lord's endless love for all his creations, as damned and broken as I am, and the comradery of my brothers in arms, as well as Satja's companionship that I can deal with such things in good consciousness." With those words her heart skipped beat, breathless, and slowly reddening as the blood rushed to her face, she tooka deep breath trying to calm herself. "Kador" she squeaked, an embarrassingly high tone. "The Neocom you needed." Then bowed low to Aero. "Godsgrace upon you Templar". She took her place at Kadors should, right next to where Aero's hand was. Her master looked utterly shocked, his skin was pale, but there was blood in the cheeks, she was sure he had not meant to say so much in her presence. Still, she consider, this was a good thing, it was good to know how he truly felt. *Doniken looks steadily at the girl next to aero* "whatever your name is, I apologize for not knowing it so I can great you properly.. however I do have one thing to say.... it is truly a rare thing in this galaxy to find real companionship whether is be friendship, marriage, or anything else.. count yourself lucky that you have an immortal who thinks so highly of you as his close friend... and I apologize if I scared you before" "It is Satja, sir, Satja Askarin of the Vhreikior, and now of the Amarr." She stuttered. Busied herself with on of Kador's favourite habits, brushing the ruffles out of her roughspun tunic. "It is nothing like that sir, I just....am wary of you... I mean Gallentean.., uh your people, sir." She flushed a shade of red that darkened her face. "And I thank you. He has been a kind master, and a good and gentle man." She added hurriedly. Good God get a hold of yourself girl, she said internally, these are immortals. Do not disgrace yourself, you are better than this. With that thought in her mind she handed Kador the Neocom as elegantly as she could, then took a resolute, but respectful stance at her masters shoulder, inwardly grinning at his admittance that he found her companionship as enjoyable as she found his. *Doniken places his right hand on the left side of his chest and bows his head* "Satja... that's perfectly understandable, if you have never been to the federation yourself, it doesn't surprise me how much you hate my race. in fact, before i came here, i hand the mind of the minmitar republic towards your empire, but i have shed those prejudices and biased judgments in hopes of gathering knowledge on all the cultures this galaxy has to offer. and i do hope you find my presence to be tolerable in the future if i am ever here again." "and please, call me Doniken."
Beside him the young girl nodded, bowed again once more, but held her tongue.
"We appreciated your open mind, Doniken" said Kador earnestly. "Its has been long since we have met someone so open minded amongst the non believers. It has been a most refreshing conversation. If you wish you shall find me later today at the Gymnasuim, I shall be there after having taken care of business with Demel.... or should be not be there, perhaps waiting for a message from him."
With that the Templar and servant turned and began to walk down the passage. Kador was unsure if Aero was going to come with him, his comrade in arms was rarely seen in the Summit, perhaps he was here for other business. Dismissing this thoughts as mere speculation he beckoned for the man to follow. |

As he is walking through the corridors Kador notices a lot of activity amongst the passers by.
Down the hallway excited voices can he heard, coupled with laughter, and a very strange accent he cannot place. Doniken behind him is talking with a smaller woman, whom he wonder if she is immortal or base liner.
So many people in the halls, he considers to himself.
With an amused look on his face he places a hand on the small of Satja's back and gently pushes her forwards. She squeaks in her high pitched, almost embarrassed tone, before rounding on him with a fearsome looks.
"What was that for?!" she says trying to look both outraged and calm at the same time.
The Templar just smiles, then stops for a moment, before asking. "What were you looking at?"
She turns a leads him down the corridor heading for Demel's offices.
"It was nothing" She said quietly. "Just that woman Doniken was talking to... she was kinda .... I don't know... pretty... I guess..."
She trails off, colour spreading across her cheeks.
Noting this Kador began to laugh.
