If you're interested in what makes sense for one of the empires, take a lot at their demographics page.
If you choose Brutor for your Minmatar bloodline,
Quote:The majority of Brutor in the Empire remain enslaved and make up the largest percentage of the Empire's slaves. However, a large number of free Brutor live in the Empire as well, though they are only the fifth most populous free bloodline. Free Brutor, as with most free Minmatar living in the Empire, are among the poorest groups in New Eden. The majority work menial jobs, particularly related to manual labor.
If you choose Sebiestor,
Quote:Like the Brutor, most Sebiestor remain enslaved, but despite being less numerous, similar numbers have been granted their freedom. The Amarr credit this to the more docile nature of the Sebiestor. The tribe has had somewhat greater luck in integrating with Amarr society as well and free Sebiestor find themselves slightly better off as a result. The majority still live in poverty, but they often have a few less negative stereotypes working against them.
And if you choose the Vherokior bloodline,
Quote:Of the free Minmatar bloodlines, the Vherokior are the best well-off within the Empire, but still in smaller numbers than the Brutor or Sebiestor. Vherokior are generally considered somewhat below the Ni-Kunni on the social ladder of the Empire and fewer stereotypes exist against them than the other Minmatar bloodlines. Many join the priesthood and act as missionaries. |

With all the nerfing and buffing, the fact that we don't have all the racial variations yet, and Dust 514 don't have any serious Role Play elements, like ; Faction Rewards, Player to Player market, Story Line, Cut-scenes, PvE... and so on ...I personally just use everything that helps me, and i don't care a donkeys ass if it fits whit the imaginary Lore, that only EvE players have. Dude that imaginary lore is what makes this game better than any other FPS ive played. Mechanics certainly don't but the world in which we are playing this game is absolutely engrossing. The corp I am a part of is the 3rd Oldest in the history of EVE, the oldest Amarrian Corp, and a heavy RP and FW corp. One of our rules is that we only use amarrian weaponry and equipment (unless there are no racial varients available) and conduct as much of our comms in character. Thing that drew me to them was the lore, their role in EVE lore, and generally the theme behind the corp. With all respect that this guy cares and isn't one of the general DONT GIVE A CRAP Fpsers types is great. That's EVE Dust is not Eve at all. We have no lore here. Not sure if serious. |

Dust is a lobby shooter that's it the only connection Dust have with Eve is that both game are made by CCP. The comparison stops there but, if you want to pretend Dust have a lore more power to you. I'm not sure if you understand the definition of "lore."

Not our fault Minmatar don't have a strong enough motive to garner a large and supportive following. Kind of hard to sympathize with a race that was on track to be accepted into the largest and most luxurious empire in all of New Eden. |
