Constant ninja nerfs to skills, huge sp sinks, broken skill tree paths that make no since, broken things like tanks, and through all of it there are no more respecs. I honestly do not like CCP at this point no one has made me madder in life you are jingling around our sp yet what no one talks about is how long it has taken me to get 12.5 million skill points I mean you say sp has a meaning but you are constantly changing skills which sp is used for. I remember when sp stopped being reset when the open beta started I probably got on a week or two after that time and haven't missed more then 100,000 active sp since I mean I am one of those people who have been getting all of their sp since the open beta only reason I have so little is because I haven't had aurum to run active and passive boosters for a while now. Yes sp means something and yes I should spend more wisely but when you are nerfing everything and constantly changing skills it is a bit hard don't ya think CCP? Even worse if I ask for a respec it wont be granted but if enough people ***** and moan on the forums CCP will pull a golden ticket from out their ass. Shame because now their are these hardcore anti respec people on the forums who are almost as hardcore as anti abortionist or anti marriage people who feel their way is the only way and that anything else would completely totally obliterate and nuke the game to nonexistence. No this game will survive as this gut wrenching game that makes me want to slowly tear my eyes balls from my skull.
CCP what if you were a simple player who didn't have unlimited sp what if you skilled all your 10 million glorious sp in to tanks and you were happy with it ^.^. Here comes CCP though nerf hammer everyone on your **** boom pg nerf, turret nerf, double turret prices you want that to hippi? Yeah let me take your marauders and destroy your fittings because you have no pg left >;D yeah i'm just that big of an ass hole cough... balanced.

I know how you feel about the nerfs and need for more skill i myself skilled into ar's to use the glu then one day i got on and its speed got nerfed really bad i was so disapointed and the other tacticals costed to much money plus their speed was also nerfed so there was nothing i could do. thats why im skilled into the adv levels of a couple diffrent weapons to find something good to replace it.But i respect their decission i do agree it was a little op, though i would not mind a respec . |

Yes CCP doesn't scare if we spend 2 mill sp to get something then nerf the hell out of it even if it took us a month to get that p they are pretty much wasting our life by doing **** like this. |

I went to the logi suit because tanking was so nerfed and broken turrets wouldn't even hit targets below or above them when uprising was first launched. But to my astonishment the logi suit was more of a sp sink and much worse the tanks and were broken because nanite injectors didn't work and the equipment wheel sucked. |

Don't do that just take a break, play other games and let your character passively skill. You invested to much SP to quit that's silly. |

I my self am logistics and do not belive its an sp sink plus they fixed the nanite injector i'm revive'n people left right and center now. |

It will get good CCP is just slow don't throw away your 12 mill SP. Just take a break come bach chech your SP then go back to playing other gamed.
CCP is going to have rapid updates from here on out so give them a chance to what improvements will be made.

But it's not costing you anything to let your character gain passive SP. If you'd like, just delete Dust from your PS3 so you aren't tempted to play this horrible build. Then, if and when it starts getting rave reviews from all the l33t gamers, you can redownload it and walah! 10M SP to spend for doing nothing!

A solution to the SP problem? A solution to everything? How about all items are initially unlocked and SP only improves their efficacy? Imagine a prototype tank. You can buy it, straight off the bat, as soon as you start the game, and it will be usable. There's only the hurdle of a 10mil ISK price tag.
But wait. You're a mercenary. Money is your element! So you take out contracts, you control your budget, you purchase cheap gear, until you get that dream tank.
Once you have it, though, you look back and you realise all that hard work... it's not worth losing in a public match.
So you never use it in public matches.

Apart from this benefit of reducing pubstomping protobears, having all items unlocked, WITH NO SP INVESTMENT REQUIRED TO USE ANYTHING, CCP can go wild implementing new items, new dropsuits, new vehicles, new weapons, without the worry about a new phase of SP RESPEC PLZ threads. Why? Because the ability for a merc to be acquiring new items is based on your wallet, and there is no cap on this.
Or so you think. You're effectively limited by how much you spend on games, how much you control how much you spend, and how much you gain in battles.
Think about the immersion! Right now, if CCP offered a triple ISK event or a triple SP event, which would you pick? Yeah, that was rhetorical.
But how do you explain a triple SP event, in terms of the universe of New Eden? "blablabla unprecedented information processing abilities by immortal clones..." hahahahah no.
But a triple ISK event? "... corporations are desperately seeking any form of protection viable for their vulnerable resources..." That's New Eden.
So what we need is ISK to become all-important, and for SP to take the back seat. |

Tanks don't suck, yes they used to be gods in closed beta but you know that had to get nerfed. You can't hit something and you blame the game but why does no one else have a problem?
Logi does not suck, the Winmatar suit is a dual tanking stud and despite it having the lowest base hp of logis it is by far the quickest. Its bonus is pretty awesome too.
It just sounds like you need a break, don't worry so much. If you aren't having fun then you have gaming all wrong. Play something else and in a while you'll get that itch to come back. |

run militia fits they cost 3k and create a challenge trying to go positive KDR as assault very hard mode or run militia SCOUT fits for are you insane hard mode.
And I do not need your ISK as I am at 556 MILLION ISK. |

Eris, great post. I mostly agree with you.
Here are my slight additions to yours, mostly.
I hate:
- the Wang Nerf Hammer of Doom.
- non-documented features (i.e. ranges).
- CCP/Shanghai and all programmers that cannot do Math (Maths for the English minded).
- whoever programmed those stupid Missile Turrets.
- not testing production code (come on, you tested missile turrets and they were okay?).
- tying the enjoyment of the game to years of effort so it will be just like EVE. A massive grinder.
- EVE.
- EVE players (except for a few I have met on DUST).
- SOON(bs,vw,ngh*)
- draw distance that prevents most from seeing who is killing you.
- breaking game play to add snow while shortening draw distances
- draw distance that varies depending on being inside or outside a HAV.
- rewards for Events that make no sense (Hacking not rewarding Minmatar).
- being so close to a great game and then destroying any chance of obtaining it.
Yet, I enjoy my friends on DUST and without them I would have been so very long gone.
I also stayed because at one time, before and during Chromosome, the game showed great promise. A promise that has been proven to be a lie. Intentional or not no longer matters when something this different has been foisted off on those that made such a commitment to the game.
Don't get me wrong, the latest release is a definite improvement. It is not nearly enough, just to make that clear as well. At least I know no longer recommend that gamers interested just to get into almost anything else. Now I suggest they start a character and come back in six months, when they have enough SP to actually start playing the game and enjoying it. 5.5/10.

Just take a break, and come back when the game is suitable for you.
It's really weird. People play the game and don't like it, they come on the forums and complain about why they don't like it (That won't get the game anywhere), some of them will stay on the forums ( For no reason at all) and complain AFTER they left the game.
