Signed.
I have never used one before and will not use one but with how broken they are, to be "skilled" in using them would not take alot. |

flaylock is fine. but looks like a lot of folk disagree so am just gonna brace for impact with the nerf. it's not like i don't have it hard enough running around with a shotgun which has a 5 feet effective range. but so what, right? these damn tryhard trolls are the cause of all of this ! but you can always just blame it on CCP, works...

Flaylock is fine. Nerf splash radius from contact nades, m1's and massdrivers before nerfing a weapon with 2.25 m splash at proto. Grenades OHK pretty much anything and have 6.0+ splash at proto. If you are a heavy and I can kill you with a 2 clips of a flaylock, you are bad. Maybe the real nerf that needs to happen is to complex kinetic mods, honestly I kill so many people with the flaylock because I outrun and outflank them (in a minmatar assault suit with 2 complex kin and around 450 total hp).
They only thing that flaylock's need is a fitting change, currently their fitting req is too low for PG. Don't change splash dmg, if anything change direct dmg to the same splash dmg amount, that way people can stop crying when they get direct shotted and mail me in-game about a 400 dmg flaylock shot.
I think some people are forgetting that the minmatar assault suit is MADE for sidearms, so if you're basing your nerf off of people running with two flaylocks in a suit styled for sidearms you should think twice about how many skillpoints someone had to use to make this a viable selection. Minmatar assault suit adds +1 shot to each Flaylock clip, giving 4 shots per clip (I usually need 5 shots for a proto heavy).
Scouts dying in one hit to flay lock? They die in one hit to everything, buff them. |
