Start buying them for your friends. If your friends are also rich, find some poor scrub and be a sugar daddy.

I just can't seem to stay up on funds, it's frustrating trying to run starters when everyone else has 100s of millions to run whatever they want and chew me up in the process.
if you've very new, do not sweat the money going into skill books. soon enough you'll be upgrading the skills you have instead of trying to get all the accessible ones to lvl 1. |

I understand that but what about the low payouts? I don't have a ton of time to play (3 kids and a 40hr a week job), grinding for 1-2 hours per night gets me around 500k isk, and that is gone in no time with the price of gear and equipment. I'm feeling frustrated that it takes so long to get money and goes so fast, I just don't have that kind of time to grind out, when I play I wanna have fun and honestly, starter fits v. Proto and advanced fits is not fun one bit IMO.
When I was still in starter mode, that was like a month ago or a bit longer, so not that long ago. I would get low on ISK when purchasing a bunch of skillbooks at 200k or 500k each. Besides that, my only expense was starter fit + basic weapon + replaced most militia mods with basic ones when needed. It was pretty cheap. One of my first suit upgrades was from militia medium to standard assault, which is only about 3k isk each. I still used the starter fits as the basis for AV or triage fits. If you're running the 8k medium suits I can see you might have an issue with isk. Again, once I purchased most of the early skillbooks and stuff, I didn't have many issues with money (getting a syndicate SMG BPO helped a bit) and I'm sure if I start running Duvolles on every clone, I might run into some issues again.
Payout wise, you should be getting anywhere from 100-200k isk from full assault matches (unless they're over super-quickly) and more from skirmishes. I think the best way to get money is through repeated ambush matches if you can do them without dying that often. |
