Thanks CCP,
The new update to PC has really changed the game and the mood associated with it - Now what do I do with my massive pile of personal isk ?
1.) more copies of my uber expensive dropships and dropsuits ?
I'd like to see a more function use of isk earned- I know ideas of a respec have been flying/
Maybe we could start buying augmentations with isk ?
Maybe we could upgrade our quarters with isk?

Start buying them for your friends. If your friends are also rich, find some poor scrub and be a sugar daddy.

BL4CKST4R wrote:I have noticed that Mercs have a crap ton of ISK, and nothing to do with it. So a feature should be added where we can convert ISK to SP once every week. The conversion rate would be 50 ISK per 1 SP and cap at 100K SP per week, or 400K SP a month. So it would cost mercs 5M ISK for 100K SP, or 20M ISK a month for 400K SP. This would also allow us to actually see the ISK value of our mercs, for example a 10M SP merc would be worth 500M ISK. This would be a pretty nice cash sink for us mercs while rewarding us a bit of SP and allow players to be a bit more lenient with SP mistakes.
This I like- I feel this could be a solution to the SP cap- really everyone can grind free suits and make 150,000 isk a match so for those poor new scrubs the incentive to continue to playing even though your getting "stomped " remains- it also gives these people a chance to catch up- it puts a higher value on isk and it can be capped -

It's nice but it's not really fair as many of us are sitting on mega-isk due to beta era drops being converted to cash... |

This is very true on both fronts- I do not need more than 1 million isk of my BEST suits and isk boosters will quell the P2W trolls -

I'm pretty new and not very good (as far as I can tell), so even running starter fits doesn't really make me much, even if I do make a decent amount, it goes away super fast from skill books and maybe a few dropsuits that I like to run.
I just can't seem to stay up on funds, it's frustrating trying to run starters when everyone else has 100s of millions to run whatever they want and chew me up in the process. |

if you've very new, do not sweat the money going into skill books. soon enough you'll be upgrading the skills you have instead of trying to get all the accessible ones to lvl 1. |

How about if you had to pay to call in vehicles or switch dropsuits at supply depots.
Also stuff like complex extenders, damage mods and fancy plates etc should cost a heck of alot more.
Also losing a match should pay out 15-20% |

I understand that but what about the low payouts? I don't have a ton of time to play (3 kids and a 40hr a week job), grinding for 1-2 hours per night gets me around 500k isk, and that is gone in no time with the price of gear and equipment.
I'm feeling frustrated that it takes so long to get money and goes so fast, I just don't have that kind of time to grind out, when I play I wanna have fun and honestly, starter fits v. Proto and advanced fits is not fun one bit IMO. |

When I was still in starter mode, that was like a month ago or a bit longer, so not that long ago. I would get low on ISK when purchasing a bunch of skillbooks at 200k or 500k each. Besides that, my only expense was starter fit + basic weapon + replaced most militia mods with basic ones when needed. It was pretty cheap. One of my first suit upgrades was from militia medium to standard assault, which is only about 3k isk each. I still used the starter fits as the basis for AV or triage fits. If you're running the 8k medium suits I can see you might have an issue with isk. Again, once I purchased most of the early skillbooks and stuff, I didn't have many issues with money (getting a syndicate SMG BPO helped a bit) and I'm sure if I start running Duvolles on every clone, I might run into some issues again.
Payout wise, you should be getting anywhere from 100-200k isk from full assault matches (unless they're over super-quickly) and more from skirmishes. I think the best way to get money is through repeated ambush matches if you can do them without dying that often. |

Yeah, I die ALOT! Even running my std medium C suit (I think that's what it's called).
I'm having a hard time believing I will ever have disposable income in this game, apparently everyone else has all this money because of the reset (that's what a friend told me anyways) but I wasn't here for that so I didn't get crap but the starting funds.
Bottom line is, I need a sugar daddy lol I don't wanna run starter fits for 2 months just to be able to have fun and be viable in the game, I will just not play before I run starters every game because that's highly boring and not playing to my style.
The fact that people even have to run starters as a noob is a joke, give us enough money to actually do something with for Christs sake. |

I could write you a billion ways to save isk and a billion ways to make isk - but its dust, and just like EVE you make your one mark and empire- I am willing to over you this- add my as a contact to and ill add you and we will see if you make 500isk in 1 or 2hrs-
if I do not see you- i leave you this
1.)Ambush over skirmish and domination- It does not seem like it but your will make more SP and Isk in hour than you will playing any other match type ( especially if your in a squad)
2.) tired of getting proto stomped- I am too but i run my free suits when protos come out-
3.) You have access to the standard fits ( they are unlimited ) you have to grind these- you can also modify them accordingly - and grind them ambush- yeah skill books are expensive - but as lazy bear said once you have got them, you really start saving isk-
I ook forward to playing with you- |

I got 7 million isk after the reset and I am dropship pilot so it did me nothing- I am currently sitting on 58million and a lot of proto nano hives - assult drop ships- logi drop ships- prototurrets- i do not even use half of this crap- only in PC and thats a maybe because in PC clones have a super value |

It's just frustrating (I'm sure you understand) to pick up a game and be slaughtered non stop and only getting tiny payouts that are gone in an hour.
Starter fits are boring and I'm not good enough at the game yet to really even kill anybody with them, **** my best game so far is like 5-17 |
