Yeah which is, surprise surprise, just buying a card and no more difficult than buying a PSN card
Hell its even easier since that prepaid cards information is saved and you wont have to reenter it everytime you want to make another purchase unlike a PSN card
Unless you guys are underage or something I dont see why you want to limit yourself |

You don't get it, why do you not want physical ETC?
I understand that you can get a prepaid debit card, but then every time that it runs out you need to get a new one.
ETC would just have you go to store, buy card, use card and don't second guess how much time you have in game.
Why are you opposed to this? |

Because its adding an unnecessary step and on top of that for CCPs part there would be various production and shipping costs biting into their profits so from a business standpoint it makes little sense when there are easy alternatives already place

Because their already shipping and manufacturing boxed EVE sets.
Look on Gamestops website.
Last I checked they were 30$.
I feel that these boxs of a already online distributed game.
I want to see something that has a point in being there in stores. |

Yeah and the boxed set comes with more than just the game, its got an art book, a usb hub, a soundtrack CD, and a board game and thats just the physical real world stuff, you also get a bunch of in game stuff
Also gamestops website only lists starter packs for sale not copies of the game itself |

So they are already manufacturing things like the EVE second decade sets, so making 2 by 3 inch cards is just beyond them?

If you go to get a cell phone you need to have a bank account. Already I'm starting to hear in bigger cities that cash is no longer an acceptable form of currency since it's so easy to.... there's a word I want to use... con-something.... I'll say impersonate even though that's wrong.
Anyways if you want a EVE account, best get a bank account or a prepaid card. CCP will probably be starting to go down the route where cash is no longer acceptable. ETC's are actually more costly to a small publisher anyways. |

Physical ETC is just the option to pay cash.
If you want to go to the store and buy time with cash, you can do that. If you prefer plastic to buy things, then you can assuming the retailer accepts it. |
