So, how do we get the rewards anyway? Do they automatically arrive in our inventory / assets, or do we have to logout login and assign it to a character (like mercenary packs)? |

At what point did you guys change the rules for the vehicle hacks? When were you planning to announce that critical piece of information? Do my vehicle hacks from before the rule change count towards the 100 successful hacks? How is it that you guys lacked the foresight to see such boosing behavior would be heavily employed for this event? |

WTF. In the DEV blog it says vehicles dont count as a hack, BUT the support ticket i put in to get this information the GM said it does count!! Make up your mind!!!!!!!!!!!!! now my tally's on paper are F'd up. On the screen at the end of battle you should make it temporarily show how many hacks/instalations we blow up in every match to make it easy for us to write it all down at the end. AND no1 specified the instalation had to be red.
Considering im 3/4 of the way done with hacks im now wondering how far i really am considering DEV's and GM's are giving mixed information. I'm not trying to rant i think some people are just getting frustrated. Som1 needs to lay out the true specifics. EITHER you are wrong, Or the DEV Blogs are wrong.
Put your heads together and give us correct information please! |

This is ridiculous... so much misinformation.
Next time you have an event, dont rush it. Figure out a way to type up a complete blog posting, or forum post about the event, with CLEAR concise description of the achievments needed for the rewards, then post it... please with more than just a few days notice.
You are talking at least 15-20 hours of gameplay for even the most dedicated players to complete all 4 objectives. You want us to collectively put that much time into this event we will gladly do so, but at least you could spend an extra few minutes adding more text to the announcment to clarify these things. |

in the post at: https://dust514.com/news/blog/2013/07/weapons-free-with-dust-514-events-in-july-and-august/ Commander wang says the following:

yet in your post at: https://dust514.com/news/2013/07/mordus-legion-announces-mordus-challenge/ you state the following:
" Vehicle hacks do not count"
I personally have almost all of my hacks completed, however if now, after having proceeded based on the original news post, I am not going to have those vehicle hacks counted, I will have wasted a good portion of the first day on flawed intel.

Note that the exclusion of those two letters is simply a form of brevity in the example "IE."
They are skirmish "Objective points" and count if I read the intent of the statement correctly.
Had I written the statement, I would have done so thus/thusly: (whichever you chose)
"Qualifying actions: Hacking the Objective points, ( i.e. A, B, and C ect. points in skirmish gamemode and A in Domination) turrets, CRU, and Supply Depots (also found in Ambush OMS)"

Its pretty messed up that LAV, Dropship and Tank hacks dont count now. This messes up my tally marks.
You know alot of stats.. many stats... why dont you just cancel out any vehicle hacks over 25 or something. If a player has 10 they are not taking advantage of the system. If they have 40 or 80 vehicle hacks then they are doing something odd. |

thank ya bill, now I kno I wont have to start over my tally sheet,,, and are our rewards after the event cause every blog I read didn't specify that?

CCP isn't telling anyone anything useful about this event so don't hold your breath for an answer... I would suggest consulting the same pen and paper youre supposed to use to track the event for meaningful communication... |

CCP, we really need to be given our results *before* the end of this event. Given that you've edited the parameters on the post a few times, my tally is useless. It shouldn't be too hard to send us a mail to tell us what our score is. It's these kinds of oversights that stop me paying for Dust while I happily pay for multiple Eve subscriptions. Prove me wrong by actually helping your player base!
On another note, when you say:

Do you mean you're giving out one hundred of everything listed, or just the HT Linear Flux Stabilizer? I've been debating whether it's worth aiming for the grand prize or not and I don't particularly care about a bunch of Stabilizers (or the Blaster for that matter, a Falchion is a missile tank!).
Finally; a comment on the rewards (other than asking for clarification). I would have really liked to see the rewards cover every race so more of the objectives are worth completing. For example, I'm a dropship pilot. Except I'm trained for Pythons, so I'm not about to train into Prometheus' just because I'm given a few. The waste of skill points would be tremendous! So I'm likely going to have 25 dropships gathering Dust until I can sell them or give them to a mate who can fly them. It's a real shame.

yes, have to count our stats is not the bigger problem, the problem is that we don't know if have achieved an objective or not, a simple notification with the numbers would be good, maybe after every day downtime, if they can track our progress at the end of the event there should not be a problem. |

I wasn't talking about doing it twice i was talking about splitting the tasks. I got a mimitar logi that would help with hacking but my other account has good forge guns to do the instillation kills. i wanted to know if it was account bound so i don't split it between them and then find out it had to be done all on one character. |

You have to do it all with one character, splitting the jobs would be too easy, it's already easy, the problem is keep track of your results and the fact that you must live with a constant doubt if you have achieved a objective or not.
To be sure i will do 200 of all instead of 100, unless they give us a way to see what we have done till now. |

Generally, rewards are given at a time after the completion of an event, or at a set schedule during the event as was done in the stamina event, in this case, I'm guessing that these rewards will come after the event, also, in EtErne's Post, there's a link to share your thoughts and gain extra items (a damage mod) which will be given by the 25th. (IIRC)
Don't miss the opportunity to get in on that as well.

also I got another question after this il b good as gold I kno vehicle assist are not counted, does this mean if a player is in the vehicle at the time of explosion that his death doesn't count as an assist, and do empty vehicle assist show up at the end of match with the rest of the assist? this has caused me to re tally all my assist and have to gain visual confirmation that way assist was indeed on foot, its caused my character to slow down a bit
