Yup, but you said 1-shot, not 2 shot So no, a flaylock will never 1 shot you... ever. Unless you're a scout Unless you're a Gallente logistics... The guy in the pic was a Gallente assault, I'm sure you could put an extender on you're suit too |

Again...
167 is damage for a direct shot, DIRECT, anything higher than that involves proficiency, mods, or armor, which would pretty much get 1-shotted. |

Regardless of whether his information is accurate does that take away from the issue? No it doesn't the, flaylock is stupid broken and even a majority of flaylock users will say that. |

Yes, yes it does, accurate information is the difference between a reasonable changes and.... ehh, CCP's going to break it anyway cause they suck at balance, but that's besides the point
You really want to make changes based on word of mouth?
There is no question that Flaylock could use some changes/nerfs, the issue is how drastic do they need to be so as to not make it completely useless, which seems to be what most people want

I find that overwhelming experience in game trumps stat sheets however both should be worked together accordingly. But I believe part of the problem is CCP does not play their game or know that actual stats for their own weapons when it comes to balancing so you are correct there that they will mess it up. |

No, you just think you know how it works. Been killed by forge noobs, don't need to spec to know their hitbox is too big. Forge players should have to aim like the rest of us (well except flaylock and MD players), not point in general direction, click, then win.
And this is why I don't trust personal "experience"
As you can see, the OP doesn't know squat about how weapons actually work, he just likes to think he does. I'm not inclined to listen to guy whose only evidence for his claims is "because I told you so"
FG hit box is too big, why? Because it killed him? |

Or...
- Flatten their Splash radius...es? 1.25 for STD, 1.50 for ADV, 1.75 for PRO |

The flaylock isn't op lol. 3 shots is op? Try blaming your noob skills by running in predictable patterns. Seriously, I'm a main flaylock scout, if I miss I'm dead. So don't cry when you stand still for me :). |
