Is someone's KD going bad? 
First of all, You gotta learn from your mistakes. Don't try taking a guy out the same way every time just because you can do it in other shooters.
Adapt or Die. ( Well I guess you're already dying so I guess you have to adapt.)
Dust is different. You don't die in 1 second in Dust. It takes more bullets than that. Have you thought about adjusting your aiming settings. The aiming would be different than what you are used to.
Just forget about your KD, die a few times, learn the game, then come back and "own" (because you're just that good  ) |

If you weren't an Alt you wouldn't have come here! To the Gen. Discussion section to discuss this, you would've gone to training grounds, hell maybe even support to see if it was a bug. It's a stupid tactic to make an alt in order to get things changed.
And If you were as good as you said you were "Pretty good" you would know already that strafing is a part of most FPS games, it would have been second nature to you, not to mention, that if you ARE new to DUST then the only people you'd be playing against are in the academy and they can't even afford the Godlock pistol yet so there's no WAY you can get killed constantly by that.
Besides there is absolutely no reason that all your complaints simply mirror/shadow all the complaints that the haters of DUST have made, there's nothing new, and you didn't leave anything out. It was too descriptive and too scripted for it to be honestly just a newbie.
You can get into ADV and PRO gear in the academy. I've tried it out on my alt. |

He could be out of the academy. OR he just got unlucky and was grouped with the AURUM, ADV and PRO atls. 
Either way there are a lot of variable that he could be doing so bad.
It could be a server problem or just the change of the aiming mechanics. |

I meant as in shooting at someone.
You don't always have to engage.
If he's too far away
If he's a heavy
If you notice he is in a group.
Tactically you'll get used to it.
I use to have the problem with me trying to kill someone that is in a group of people. |
