So i can see a single assault running behind me but i dont see a LAV about to run me over?
LAVS should ALWAYS appear on the map. Nuff said.

Also, be glad people haven't caught onto scout LAVs. Those things are practically invisible. |

Exactly. All I do is hear them, and as a Gallente Logi with Armor plates, I have no chance in dodging them in full speed. |

No only , the ''sound'' they produce is not very precise and does not help in determining where hey are coming from, its like the sound Drop ships do, you hear them everywhere... Unless you have an expensive surround system, there is no way on telling where they are. |

They only time LAVs seem to show up on radar is if a CRU picked it up or if someone else on your team already spotted it. |

Well once a member in the team gets runner over i doubt there is much use if it appears in the radar since the damage is already done.... LOL |

It's that the LOLs blitz through the 20m scan radius. |

In that case LAV should not apply to Scan radius nor Profile Dampening. They should ALWAYS be on the RADAR.
They are meant for fast transport and healing (in the case of LOGIS, even if NO ONE uses them for that), so there is not reason for them to be invisible, at ANY range. |

The MCC should be able to scan vehicles down for us. getting run over and insta killed by a car coming from behind you isn't fun. |

Ask any Chromosome-era scout and they will confirm that the current profile system is based on what seems to be a mixture of moon gin and Stackoverflow pastes.
An official developer comment on how it currently works (even if the comment is "It doesn't, lol!") would be great, and much preferred to last version's approach of letting everyone crouch-walk around for months before letting them know stances and movement have no impact on the profile game. |

well the actual problem is the Dropsuit Scan Radius being 10m, which is the ground covered by a full speed LAV in approximately 0.2 seconds. I don't even KNOW the Scan Profile of Vehicles, perhaps it should be something in the game *hint hint* |

That's bullshit. Just because the scrubs don't, doesn't mean all of us don't. |

Infantry suit scanners are all snafu, atm. Their range is a pathetically small joke, and their detection is almost worthless.
People have been kittening about this since the start of uprising, and yet the devs have done NOTHING about it so far.
I think it's funny that uplinks show up like a shining beacon broadcast from orbit onto the the ground, but a lav is sneakier than a cloaked up cheetah. |
