I've got 2 equipment slots dedicated to proximity mines and av grenades but I just can't keep up with all of them. I was using swarms as well but the lock on time just isn't fast enough for me personally. I've had success using tanks to combat them but then I can't revive my squad mates. So what's the best way to deal with the free bumber cars of doom? |

Spec into logi lav and bump them, they'll instantly explode and if you have a caldari llav then your shields will just be scratched slightly. Easy peasy, you don't even need mines. Av nade for the ones that get stuck and you don't want to drive into :P |

Or spec into Gallente or Minmatar logistics. However any logistics suit will do.
Get demolitions skill up to at least 4. This will give you proximity mines and F/49's.
If Gallente or Minmatar, spec into nanocircutry 3 for some K-2 Nanohives. Fit shield tank in lows, speed modules in highs.
Now on the battlefield, throw down as many mines as in can in high traffic areas. Keep them a few meters apart and make either a line or a filled circle. Wait for them to blow up; rinse and repeat.

I also like my advanced swarm launcher. It's a bit specialized in terms of usage but it's a lot of fun mercilessly hunting down the murder taxis. |

I have an AV suit running ADV swarms and PRO AV nades...takes out the free murder taxis just fine, but it's nearly impossible to kill an LLAV even with this fitting (assuming a competent driver, of course). I'm working on PRO swarms, but I doubt it'll make much difference. |

I had a guy lose 3 Caldari LLAVs to me last night. For some reason packed AV grenades and advanced swarms just ate them up. Usually the driver was dead before his ride. Are AV grenades killing the drivers now? |

Drivers seem to be particularly fragile after 1.2 was implemented. I take splash damage from blaster turrets even when getting hit on the back of my vehicle.
The best way to take out LLAVs is AV grenades/fluxes + nanohives, after they are trapped/flipped by other vehicles or by their own clumsy driving. Mines will only destroy militia LAVs. Alternatively you can chase them down and shoot out their driver using the splash damage from a turret.
Ramming them in a head-on collision carries a high chance of killing yourself as well unless you have over ~800 EHP.
Swarms are kind of a joke on any well-fitted LLAV. The first shot may connect but chances are the driver won't stick around for the others to hit. If you can coordinate with 2-3 other swarm launcher guys and fire all at once, then you can toast it. |

LAV spamming is making AV fits the most enjoyable. Blowing up murder taxis is the most fun you can have with your pants on. |

Run AV, or take the more fun route-
get a friend, call in an LAV, then chase the other LAVs down with the turret firing at them. Loads of fun. |
