Whenever spawning in as commando I am greeted with a black screen, sometimes the black screen goes away after a while of waiting but then I am stuck running around with absolutely no weapons or equipment.

CCP GeeDiiiiky C C P C C P Alliance 23	Posted - 2013.07.08 14:28:00 - [3] - Quote Hi there, were you using a commando with only one weapon fit in the upper weapon slot? if so, there is a bug reported for this one. for the time being, the work around would be either fit 2 weapons, or move the weapon from the upper slot the lower one. i am really sorry for the trouble.

I let the game kick me from the current game then re-launched into another Instant Battle. got another Black Screen. Game will not let me pick a Spawn during Black Screen but I can hit Start and I think do stuff in the Start Menu because I hear sounds from the menu scroll. I have no idea if anything happens in the Start menu

Not going to bother playing on it if I'm forced to play assault like this character. It's not particularly important. Just wanted a different play style for a bit.

Feel free to join battles with your heavy dropsuits again. Bear in mind that Commando black screen issue may persist, and that temporary fix still can be applied as explained here. We are still working on resolving remainder of black screen issues that were happening to other dropsuits. Once we have a fix for it, we will inform you in the extended downtime announcement in the upcoming days. Thank you for your patience everyone.

My issue with black screen is not when I've spawned in but when I have died and gone back to the menu screen to spawn in except that is where it is all black. I can't seem to navigate at all to click a spawn point as I don't hear the sound of my boots hitting the ground or any shots if I try to fire, also keep being told off for not spawning. However I can seem to navigate pressing select to open to squad menu and press square to be able to send a message to what ever channel I left selected because the playstation keyboard thing still pops up. If I try to join another game without restarting dust the same thing happens. Also when I have restarted, twice now I have noticed comms stop working all together and I have to restart a second time to get it back. Related?
