I think It would be a good idea if medics could have a grenade that when they threw it it would heal every team mate within its proximity. This would help medics be able to heal a lot of people at once in those intense firefights instead of having to continuously relock on to people franticly. |

there is such a thing, you know?
its a nanohive you throw in the general direction of the wounded/damaged combatant and when impacting it starts to heal/repair said friendly until a certain ammount of nanites is used up. a logibro can even carry several of those.

I like this idea, except for the fact that such a device would be made redundant by the repair nanohives. |

They probably know, but they want their heavy to self rep. |

the point of a heal grenade would be a burst of reps that a nanohive simply does not do quickly enough. secondly, a nanohive can be destroyed by the enemy making you healing method easily countered. thirdly, any dropsuit running these sacrifices damage grenades which makes their capabilities in combat less, which makes the tradeoff worthwhile.
i approve of the heal grenade. |

Who's to say a heavy doesn't equip these and just bomb themselves mid fight? A sentinel wouldn't really need a logi as much if they could just do the healing themselves and at a faster rate then nanohives. There is also the AoE effect which means that if multiple heavies started a charge they could each, one at a time, heal each other as needed to become immortal. After they run out they would just find a nanohive or supply depot and start all over again. |
