Jumped in mid-skirmish, was a brutal takedown with all objectives held by other side.
Got only 75 WP with 1 kill and 6 assists.
Something is not adding up right here.
It's not the first time this has happened, just noted the particular numbers this morning, as it was really off. Other friends have noted their numbers aren't adding up either from time to time.
Possibly it's glitching when you are being over-run (was shooting at about 7 guys through a doorway).
Or perhaps it's a matter of only the top two for dealing damage get credits? 50 to the kill shot, 25 to the next highest damage dealer on the list? Or maybe it's just credited when you actually deal damage to their armor, and not just the one that took out their shields? Not sure on the details there...it's just not adding up. If you get credited for assisting kills in your battle stats,you should get some WP for it too...even if it's a paltry amount (like the 12 you get for being the third/fourth assist on a hack or something?).

Seriously guys, this needs to be looked into. It's easy to duplicate. Get on sniper, miss the head shot but still do enough damage to take out their shields and possibly dent their armor. Someone else gets the kill shot, and you get NOTHING for it. This doesn't seem to be a range thing either...seems to happen whether you are within 200 meters or out to 500--it's happeninig fairly consistent, and not just on sniper...witnessed it with assault setups too. Just went a whole freaking Skirmish with just 1, 1, and 3 deaths, half the time with an assault rig, the last death was when I was on sniper and got discovered because I was pinging shields from above one objective while covering another on sniper rig. This is BS. |

Pretty sure Kill Assists for infantry don't give WP. Only SP. |

nope... 25 Kill Assist shows up when on foot. But it's not processing it consistently for some reason. |

I suspected that maybe we were getting Assists but were the fourth Merc doing the Kill and thus there were no points. Third used to give out 12 (or 12.5, I don't remember exactly) similar to hacking. I haven't seen anything except +25 Assist in quite some time however.
To verify the situation I logged everything in a Skirmish and an Ambush. The Assists in the battle report was pretty close (couple short) but the WP payout was dramatically less than the math said it should be. Now that might be because of some limitation that the Devs have in place but have yet to share the information with us. Which would be painful but consistent with their behavior in the past. I consistently, as in every single day I play, lose WP from Kills and Assists. Which means I am losing ISK and the ever precious SP as well.
Maybe they will take note of the problem and maybe they will even let us know they are doing something besides fixing the Persistent Bug with the Release of Uprising.  |

I've finished battles as a sniper with 4 kills and 10 assists (which the screen always notifies me of with the "kill assist +25" message)
and come away with 250 WP for the battle. Where'd the other 200 WP go??? |

This problem is also happening to me. Sometimes I do not get WP for assists. It shows in the after match results screen. The WP does not match up with the statistics. |

I haven't tracked mine but this is a problem if it happens consistently. WPs determine your standing at the end of the game and as such, your payout. If you get a lot of assists but not much else, you will be low on the list and ISK rewarded will be minimal. This situation is especially bad for new players.
I would also like to know how this affects orbitals. If the game is not actually tracking your assist WPs it means less orbitals for your squad. Potentially anyway. |
