I'm finding the lack of physics involved in random directional changes along with higher strafing speeds makes sniping challenging. If I'm close enough to have a bigger target I'm dead meat to anything with an AR.

Have to echo the frustration of making an apparent on-target shot and not getting any damage.

It's going to be a long time until 1.3 it seems. I'm still investing SP in my scout/sniper role -- we'll see how that turns out. I've been on the verge of "taking a break" a couple times since the upgrade. I'm hoping I'm just not used to it yet.

Given the list of Specialization names that was posted a few weeks ago, of which FIVE of those were Light frame suits, might they be trying to make the recon suit into a recon suit in order to make the way for, say, Breach and SpecOps suits?

They'll probably buff it. Eventually. Maybe sooner than that since they did say that balance issues were a high priority alongside performance issues. You really spent 6 months specializing into one build and now you can't run anything else? Nice sob story, enjoy your Nova Knife Proficiency 5, lol.

Classic as to why we need a respec option available at all times via aurum points. 50,000 aurum points. That's 2 psn cards money for Sony and CCP. If it was available this thread would've never been made.

i just went 20/5 with a dragonfly scout. maybe you just suck

Are still in the academy or something? It doesn't count if you were in a dragonfly suit in a lav you know...

I dunno, hit-box for scouts seems extremely iffy. Hip-fire against them is absolutely terrible.

Not to mention scouts (along with heavies) seem to have some invulnerability to core nades and Thukkers (maybe all nades). Many times I can score direct hits and no health will be taken.
