I can outrun maybe 1 out of every 5 swarm launcher volleys. And thats only if I see you fire them right away and react instantly. Stop crying about the easiest weapon to use in the game. |

Can't outrun the ones that are invisible and silent.
Or really the first volley if you're not already moving and moving away from it. |

I just survived harrassment from a swarm and a FG all last battle. Even completely dodged a swarm volley.
The secret? Assault dropship with a basic afterburner. Very short cooldown, and I just need to turn on the module before going into "semi-unstoppable" mode. I call it semi unstoppable because buildings still stop it. |

Dropships with afterburners can outrun them, and dodging them is as easy as driving around a corner. |

first of all baggins i use proto swarms with stacked damage mods and according to the assult dropship pilot further down the page its quiote easy to dodge swarms as i have seen numerous times in battle so maybe you should think before you talk.

Funny.. they never outrun my Swarms  Specially the pilots that thinks that they can just sit in midair, shooting down at people. |

So what ? if a pilot is good enough to be in the move all the time, and don't let you hit them with your Swarms, it should be rewarded for good tactics ...
You still can kill the BAD pilots very easily with Swarms anyway. |

well here's my issue.
imo drop ships shouldn't be able to out run swarms, but they should be able to dodge them.
To be able to dodge them would also require the dropships to be able to control better and be able to see them consistantly, as swarms are often invisible and they get no warning they are being locked onto.
so when being locked onto they will get the warning, but more or less once the missles are fired they are **** out of luck if they can't get out of the way.
that would be my ideal anyway.... |

Dude there is no skill in war.. why the hell do you guys keep talking about skill? swarms do require *skill* as you call it.....you have to time your shots and also play attention from where you shoot from....and ,make sure you can get away before you get raped by infantry... |
