Now I feel the pain of the Over Poweredness.

Basic Minmatar Medium Frame M-1 (165 Shield/ 135 Armor)

+ CAR-9 Burst SP (50.4 Dmg)

+ TY-5 Breach SP (134.4 Dmg)

+ 3 Complex Dmg mods

+ 1 Enhanced CPU Upgrade.

Not to mention Lv4 Pro for pistols.


PS: Please don't take my (Q_Q' )ing to heart, guys. i'm not saying this is some kind of travesty that will be the end of the world or something. I'm saying that now I know what it really feels like. I also have Lv3 Pro Flaylocks, but I don't use them anymore because it's just not AS fun to use when so many others use it. I like using semi-challenging weapons.

The problem is not that some playes run all proto in pub ambushes, the problem is the small playerbase and matchmaking. Is it great when you have a squad on each side running proto to even out the match, but it often happens that the matchmaking is unable to find an equal strong squad to match with the other proto squad. You will then end up with a proto squad with whatever op weapon totally destoying the opposing random team.

I have stopped getting mad at this and instead decided to only run miltia or standard suits in pubs even though I have 12mill SP and 200mill isk. Have great fun trying to at least get a few proto kills, I will loose no isk and it is a great challenge that I enjoy robbing the proto players of some of their isk. And in return I am helping them to improve their kill death ratio, a win win situation :)

When you see a red dot you need to point at them & press R1 at them then you might not die so much.

There is nothing wrong with the game & people like you are detrimental to it's success by always questiong what the great, almighty CCP are trying to create here.

Meh Flay locks are pretty powerful guns, but not the be all end of gameplay, shame of those who spam them for lack of reason other than to be a part of the trend, props to those who truly kick ass with them, but my trusty scrambler rifle takes on all comers and oft times wins.

Also the only real reason Id' take issue with a Flaylock is because armour tanking sucks and explosives have no real downsides to the players that use them.

Yep, I feel your pain. I came in hoping for a sporting combat game.

I'm slowing moving out with only the bad taste of fanboi cheap frat thrills Grand Theft Auto left.

This isn't for us former military types. This game is for the neckbeards to have a place to feel good about themselves.

Beer, LAVs and lols.

It is NOT urban warfare. It is urban gangbanging. I think there are better games that cover both themes.

But CCP just wants the money so as long as the aurum can keep flowing I guess it'll be a success for them.

Playing long slow matches in Skirmish or Domination with a Militia Amarr Medium and two scrambler pistols is not something I would prefer to do.

I'm into testing my head shot skills in a match where hacking and going for long runs everywhere are not priority. Ambush is the least boring mode for me right now. That and since my SP is capped, it'd be a waste playing long matches where I already got my 1000, long before the match is over.

Why is it so hard for people to understand the MMO aspect of this game? With a 7-10 year skill tree of course people who have been playing for 6 months are going to have a significant skill+gear advantage. Any type of MMO provides significantly more powerful gear at high levels than what beginners will have and if you cannot accept that then move along, this is not the game for you.

Although I see by your AUR statement that you seem to believe the game is PTW, which just shows your ignorance. It's pay to get ahead at best.

Here is where your argument falls apart, on a totally even playing field a player that truly is "stronger" than another will still come out on top
Right now the field is far from even or even competitively balanced so certain builds and even just using a full proto kit in general are a crutch
