How about simply lowering the time based rewards for people who aren't actually doing anything. Seriously, how hard would it be to implement...
min (time on field + 10% time of battle, time of battle) / time of battle * (current normal earning rate * time of battle)
And, yes, i know pro idiots can drop down and rubber band their controller behind the redline... this doesn't mean we can't take steps to curb folks making the game less fun for those that actually play it. It would just be the first step forward. |

Time of battle is once your in it. You earn sp just for the game going on longer. . Lower it then what it all ready is and your hurting your self on sp. If you do it by WP the high SP player have a better chance of WP then a low SP player. Only thing i say that would work is if your in the MCC when blows up when your in it. Yea its not the best but it would work sometimes. It kills your Sp for that game. Come on look at the boom that thing makes when it blows. "sends out a shock wave stopping your sp going to your clone" |

Current sp gains: 5sp each second + 1sp each wp.
I say SWAP THE NUMBERS AROUND.
5sp each wp and 1sp each second.

Or playing = increased SP reward, why punish the afkers but not reward players? |

Punishing the AFKers leaves those who play "rewarded" in comparison anyway.
You, if you were CCP, could also look at movement (or changes in movement) as an indication of activity. At least something sophisticated enough to not be fooled by a rubber band. |
