I play a Minja and it is pretty fun with IshNoks (aka proto knives). Their proto suit is hampered by poor CPU even when your skills are maxed out. I am down to maxing out my sidearm operation, light weapon operation, and explosives skills to lv 5 just to eek out every last bit of CPU savings. trust me- it is a long road to making a minja proper.
I kind of feel like a ganja is easier to play initially. Exactly how does a...ganja use recon? I have never used knives, because I always thought that it would be difficult getting up close to an enemy without them hearing or seeing me before I hit them. I'm curious which is better for using sniper rifle, minja or ganja? Thanks.
Actually, none of the Scout suits support sniping, the best thing to do is to use a Logistic suit, they are more suited for sniping, not saying Scouts can't snipe, it's just that none of the Scout perks help you in sniping, other than the lower Suit Profile. |

I use Proto Gallente Logi, but how would this be the "best" for sniping aside from equipment usage? Scouts have better profile scans and reductions for hiding and therefore useful for sniping, don't they?
Profile scans only work for detecting enemys on your radar, as a sniper you'll be relying on sight more then you radar, a lower scan profile is the only real benefit of using a Scout suit, a with a Logi suit you have higher CPU/PG, so that means you can stuff better gear for ether defense or offense, which ever you feel you need really, and with the added equp slots, you can have a Active Scanner, Nanohive or a Drop Uplink, Gallente Scout only gets a buff to his radar rang, which dosen't help much when your shooting targets out of your radar range. |
