Must be a violation of the clone laws involved here. |

TheGoebel wrote:Honestly, this wasn't my expected response. I wanted marching in the streets. But the revelation of a time traveler in our mists is pretty cool too.
I hate to mix genres on you but "was this is not the drama you were looking for?"
EDIT: Better with was in it. |

I know, I know, our forum comments are supposed to be relayed from our keyboards to the developers desks... but the Jovians hacked our comms and sent alternate instructions just for yuks. |

I don't have time travelling skillz.
Honestly, I'm not getting any bonuses from anything this release... the scout has not seen a lot of love lately either. I don't really think subjecting everyone to my complaints day in and day out is the way to handle the situation. |

TheGoebel wrote:I know it seems like we're just complaining because we are upset children. Well us being upset children is mostly true. Never mind that. This is hard to ignore -- it drives most other conversation out of the forums.
TheGoebel wrote:The problem for me, and I maybe for the rest, is we made a reasonable argument based much discussion as well as providing mathematical proof of the issue. We had been told on multiple occasions that this was an important issue to CCP and that the work we had done had been forwarded to the DEVS. Here's a link were I gathered some other lip service that we have received. What makes you think the devs are not aware of our opinions on this matter?
TheGoebel wrote: It's upsetting because I invested into this and was given false expectations. Its upsetting because I thought I was playing the game, not whining, not spamming, just showing support to the balance issue. Now that I know that doesn't work, why not try the whining and the spamming? There are a lot of conflicting opinions on any particular issue. If CCP does not choose your opinion for implementation refer to your first point above. Yes, it is mostly true... and no, I don't mean to be directing that specifically at you. It's all over the forums every day. |

As well as that... we all have the windmills that we tilt against.
Seriously though, seing as you are trying to counter my nonsense with reality, you will not find any issue of substance that seems to get a widespread consensus across the user base. I find it hard to imagine CCP picking sides instead of building the game they want and keeping an eye our for things they didn't notice (after the fact).
Listening is not -- tell us how we should build the game we've got in our heads. Listening is, hey, we hear you, we made a big mistake, or a little one, and now we'll fix it.
In this case, we're getting drops for things. Some will suit particular races and roles. This is going to go on for quite a while and whomever did not get what they personally want will QQ like a 7 year old for a while afterward. Often, these same folks will play the game in the new configuration and either change their mind or have a large bunch of folks that they are full of ****. |
