So, I decided to do ten matches of Skirm in my ADV Scout Suit.
(Fitting)
Scout M/1 Series - Total ISK Cost per Suit = 20,160 HIGH Enhanced Shield Extender Basic Shield Extender
LOW Complex Kinetic Catalyzers x2
WEAPON Shotgun
EQUIPMENT Repair Tool
Here are the weapons I died to the most (This list is incredibly predictable)
- 37 Assault Rifle Deaths
- 7 HMG Deaths
- 7 Scrambler Rifle Deaths
- 5 Mass Driver Deaths
- 3 SMG Deaths
- 3 Crushed by LAVs
- 2 Blaster Installation Deaths
- 2 HAV Blaster Turrets
- 2 Fused Locus Grenade Deaths
- 2 Shotgun Deaths
- 2 Sniper Deaths
- 1 Locus Grenade Death
- 1 Crushed by HAV
- 1 Flaylock Death
- 1 Orbital Death
WP Earned: 9440 Total Kills: 121 Total Deaths: 76
Now for the ISK Lost/Earned ISK EARNED: 2193980 ISK LOST: 1431360 TOTAL PROFIT: 742,460
Now I'd like to adress some things regarding my experience.
Contact Grenades
Remove every single one of them, even the Proto, AUR and ISK versions. That is all.
Turret Installations
They should lock onto targets depedning on the enemy's Scan Profile, or at least the lower the Scan Profile, the longer it takes for the turret to notice and lock onto targets, I was being attacked by these things without even provoking them (There were no enemies controlling them)
ISK Cost
I dread to think what my losses in ISK would've been if I was wearing my Proto Suit (73k per Suit), Scout suits need a price reduction, I'm forced to use ADV every match just to keep up the costs of running a Scout Suit.
Stamina Regen Delay
It seems as if CCP made it take longer for Stamina to start regenerating after the 1.2 patch, please revert this back.
Shotgun
If I could count how many shots I 'Hit' but the game never regestering them I would, but there was just too many to keep track, I'm okay with how Shotgun aiming feels right now, I'm starting to adapt, but please fix the hit detection. I've noticed sometimes when not even aiming at an enemy, but aiming somewhere close to them I hit, but half the time when the reticule is red the shot doesn't register.
I understand that Scout is supposed to be the 'Hard Mode' of the game, and it is, and I like that, there were moments where I felt like I was playing a stealth game, sneaking around an enemy controlled complex, running along rooftops and sneaking by tanks, it felt epic, and would prefer this over going tryhard Cal Logi anyday.
But if you're going to do ONE thing CCP, please, reduce the price of the Proto suit, I'd like to use it for once. |

I would kill the basic shield extender and toss on a dam mod. I would also replace the complex Kin Cat with a cardiac reg. With one C Kin Cat you are already faster than most everyone, and the extra stamina will serve you better. You'll be bale to run a whole lot further as well as leap with near abandon. It also helps you regenerate stamina faster.
Ganja scouts get a whole lot more felxibility, but IMHO, a poor old Minja has to lock in his two low slots on a biotic cocktail.
Why repair tool? A RE or a compact nanohive is the way to go. or ditch equipment and toss on a flux nade (i know CPU is a fukn *****).
And yea. Shotgun hit detection is like russian roulette sometimes.
And how the heck did you get crushed by an HAV :)?
Repair Tool was because I couldn't fit anything else on, going to get my CPU skills up though.

I basically got stuck between a a HAV and a wall.
It hurt my pride, this was the one thing I didn't want to happen, because I knew I'd have to post it up
On my first match I was like "Man, I hope I dont get crushed by a HAV, that'd be embarrassing "
